The room was clean and comfortable, with reasonable pricing for parking. And the staff was great!

Really well kept, friendly staff and decently quiet apart from the renovations happening on my final day, though that type of construction wouldn’t be a regular occurrence. Well situated on the near side of West Loop, good transit connections, especially to South Loop. Room was perfect for 1-2 people, clean with a full refrigerator, safe, microwave, TV- all updated and managed interiors. Spent much of my time away from the building and area, but travel back was never too long and it felt nice to crash at after a long day. Can’t comment on the breakfast/other amenities, but I have no complaints with my stay.

The internet advertised as having parking. They were out of parking when we arrived at 2pm. Next door public parking garage was closed. Not much desired for street parking either. We were told a queen bed. However, the bed seemed more of a full-size vs a queen.

We were only there for a night, but it was exactly what we needed. It was clean and quiet, and parking was conveniently attached.

Bad News during our 3-day stay: * The TV signal repeatedly went out, and only certain channels worked. * When I tried to call the front desk the room phone would not connect. * My key worked the first time I used it, but then failed. I got a new key, which also didn't work. * Shower head was too high, pointed toward wall, and not adjustable, with mediocre pressure. * The room is very small and the room heater was noisy (February stay). * The breakfast was advertised as continental, but they must be referring to a pretty small continent. They offered apples, fruit cocktail, oatmeal, pop-tarts and juice. * The neighborhood is not great, but we had no issues during our three day stay. The location is very convenient to the United Center. * They had a fridge in the lobby with sodas for sale, but no bottled water. When my wife asked for water, the desk clerk invited her to walk down the street to a gas station. Good News: * On our last day, they brought towels promptly on request. * Price is appropriate for the location and quality. * Self-parking was convenient and only $25 per day. * The breakfast included the best coffee machine of any hotel I have stayed in - it featured lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos in regular, chocolate and vanilla. Worked perfectly and with high quality.

They made me feel like I was at home. Very friendly , yet professional. If I’m in that area again, I will look forward to staying there.

I do not recommend this place. We will never stay at this hotel again. Upon arrival, they indicated they didn’t have my reservation that was made through Expedia over a month ago. They stated it was for one night and not two - my Expedia reservation clearly showed two. A supervisor got involved to rectify. Then, I got called the next day asking why my stuff was still in the room, and that I needed to book another night (despite a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door), I had to yet again explain the situation, which should already have been addressed and documented already. Clearly unorganized record keeping, and ineffective communication contributed to a very poor stay. Ps only channels 42-68 worked on our room TV (which was not disclosed upon arrival). This was only shared with me once I called to report a problem. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room hummed loudly every 30 minutes which was another negative experience and continued to impact our ability to have a peaceful stay.

Check-in time 2 1/2 hours. As a waiting time is getting longer there were more and more customers coming into the lobby. And we asked the staff how come other people who came after us getting their room before us and then they said they’re trying to accommodate mine and my friends room closer to each other in the same floor, which we requested so we waited. My friend got a room about half an hour before I did and our room were on the same floor, but it was the end to the the other end. Finally, I check into my room and it was clearly they just finished cleaning or whatever but the bathroom floor was wet. It was actually slippery and could be hazard. The staff offered free drinks and snacks since we were waiting in the lobby for so long so that was a nice gesture, but I honestly didn’t appreciate their words that only sounded to me, just an excuse for example they said there were group of people who checked out after 2 o’clock, I mean, I do not understand how that could be an excuse for the customers who booked for their various purposes need that room that very day with proper check in process.

My friend and I have stayed here twice now, and it’s a great, super convenient option if you need a place to stay close by the United Center like we did since we drove in for a concert! Parking is convenient since you can park in the parking garage right next door, though you will have to pay $35 for overnight parking. Staff is super friendly and accommodating too. Only con is it’s an older building, so the sound carries pretty easily between the walls and floors (we had a pretty energetic couple above us😅).

The staff was nice and the hotel felt safe. It was basic and in a sketchy area (I’m not knocking the hotel for that). I do give bonus points for the convenience to walk over to the Chicago Police training center. Next time I’ll fork out the extra bucks for the added transportation and stay in a nicer neighborhood.
