Had a lovely meal here with my partner who had been given a voucher. Lovely atmosphere and pleasantly warm with a log burner where we were seated. We managed to book a table in the bar area. It was very busy. The food was lovely and certainly perfectly cooked. We had a main and my partner insisted on a dessert ( I’m more a starter girl) but he won! As the choice included 2 of his favourite desserts I’m pleased he won. I had. Coffee mouse with an unusual sponge crumble type top. The top wasn’t to my taste and I’d have preferred it on the base and less of it as the coffee mouse was so nice so I pushed the top aside to get to the treasure. My partner had the brownie ( his favourite dessert) he loved it too. I’d just like a special mention to the waiting staff who are all lovely and very attentive. The girls worked hard and kept their heads up which is rare these days. It was easy to get their attention when needed. They were friendly and professional. I’m not surprised the place was so busy. I look forward to to a return visit. I recommend booking. We were only a couple and we were lucky.

A hidden gem. We will be back! Delicious food, amazing decor and brilliant staff. We had some drinks here at christmas and then a family meal the week in between. It was so nice! The food was incredibly mouthwatering. Dog friendly in the bar.

Haven't been here for ages but decided to visit with friends. Great selection of beers if you like Lacon's beer as its a Lacon's pub. Food was great with reasonably priced menu and good selection. Service was really good, Not rushed but not ignored just how I like it. Suggest booking (we did ) as we went on a Saturday night and it was really busy.

Me and my wife went for date night after hearing good things from friends. We was not disappointed! The food was excellent and the service was second to non. Highly recommend and we will be returning soon

We visited The Honingham Buck during Norfolk Restaurant Week (November). It was excellent all round - staff were friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and at excellent value. There were also a variety of vegetarian dishes to choose from which was appreciated! Great atmosphere, and although the room we were in was nearly much full - it wasn't too loud. We would happily visit again in future.
