Lovely historic hotel, comfy bed, nice clean room, central location for exploring Worcester close to NCP car park. Lovely staff and a great cooked breakfast.

Old.room with stained carpets, dust everywhere, noisy, mold on shower curtains, a dirty moldy towel was left behind the bath, never noticed by whoever cleaned there. It's authentic, I'll give it that...

Hotel is very central for all the sights and shops. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious with small fridge and kettle etc. The included continental breakfast hamper was a nice idea.

Bed was crap but luckily for me I didn’t have to sleep on it. The lock broke on my colleagues door meaning he wasn’t able to get in to his room. No staff, no contact number. I slept on the floor and my colleague got the horrible bed. We probably both had a rubbish night

Nice period features and decor. Breakfast hamper nice touch. Quite good tea tray. Nice big bath tub and powerful shower however: Shower curtains mouldy Automatic bathroom light turned off every five minutes Main heating off in December - cold heated towel rail. Bed linen had faint smell of pub kitchen fat. TV obscured by four poster bed poster - poor position. No bbc 1 or 2 on television. Unable to lock room door from inside - staff door in room. No still water in room. Aware it’s probably a listed building - but the noisiest place I’ve stayed in.

Strange arrangement regarding security which sole female travellers may find unsettling. Also heating was blasting out of the radiator which I tried to turn down but the control knob broke off. Many good qualities to accommodation but for the price the standard of some aspects, especially security and mattress quality, was poor. Several electrical sockets in my room didn’t work. All staff I met were friendly and polite. Milk was forgotten when my first morning breakfast hamper appeared - no staff if anything is needed. My friend’s hamper was completely forgotten so she had no breakfast!

Pros: Friendly staff, clean room and great shower, close by NCP parking that came in at £7.80 for 24hrs, staff were happy to refund breakfast payment. Cons: Room freezing to start with! (heating had not been put on), bed matress not for those with a bad back, council bin run at 5am and local building works very noisy (not hotel's fault), staff did not inform us that breakfast slot had a 10 minute limit - arrived at 9.10am to be told too late and would not be served!!!!! How rude. Over all would try again in the summer perhaps, if other city center hotels were full. Beer was well kept and bar was busy.

Lovely old (Tudor?) building with traditional wooden features, heaps of unique character and a charming pub on the ground floor! Staff were friendly and efficient and the standard hamper breakfast brought to the door on time. No parking as located in city centre but therefore walkable to many touristic amenities and facilities. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Ok. It is a room above a back street pub. Comfortable bed, fan was disgustingly dirty. No food options but you are in town so you can wander out to find something

I stayed in the King John room. Had a double poster bed and a lovely bathroom. The pub has loads of character and the room was very comfortable. A picnic hamper for breakfast was lovely.
