One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice. Room was spotless. Shrewsbury town and all its amenities were just around the corner. A perfect location and a perfect stay!

Lovely room, very well equipped. Only negative, shower water pressure not very good. Hotel offers excellent amenities, loved the honesty bar for those who don’t wish to venture out of an evening. Breakfast in the morning was superb, amazing selection of continental products and the cooked offering was delicious.

The staff were lovely and a lot of effort has gone in to making this a lovely place to be. I had an okay stay but I am not sure the garden rooms quite live up to the reviews. They are quite small and you can hear the room above quite readily. The shower was also not remotely powerful. But a pleasant stay. I get the impression I didn't quite get the most of what the hotel has to offer as I stayed with my dog and they aren't allowed in the main building.

Great hotel in convenient location. Upgrade from garden room to a room with king bed and coffee machine was ok, but they had run out of coffee pods anyway. The room was nice and characterful.

Everything about the stay was exceptional

Great location and nice clean rooms. The sitting rooms with honesty bar and games were great after a long day wandering around.

Comfortable stay

Staff were very friendly, we had our dog and although he was not allowed in the main eating area, the team accommodated an ensured we had breakfast delivered to our room. Breakfast was great and good quality food. Very lovely hotel and great location, definitely recommend

What a lovely place! Was in room 11 and it was perfect. Even my pup loved it.

Reception, location, decor, parking, breakfast room, menu and service; excellent. The single bedroom is poor. Space restricted, noisy street location, lack of ventilation, no additional pillow to better comfort the guests. Too many assumptions made.

Great staff and excellent breakfast (with some of the best bacon I have ever had). The location is great and there is paid parking very close (£1:20 an hour) but only pay 08:00-18:00 otherwise free
