The hotel is close to Shwedagon Pagoda, within walking distance, and near a local market. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. However, improving the cigarette and musty smells in the rooms would make it perfect.

good location. only 3 steps to Shwedagon pagoda eastern entrance. It's small hotel near fresh market that's why the surrounding is not a kind of luxury, clean or hi-end but it's comfortable and it's really good to have a sneak what local people did. Very friendly and helpful staff. one thing need to improve is I smell very strong cigarette in the room (I guess the smell stick in the room for long time of course even hotel is not allowed to smoking but I think some guess did it). Breakfast in Japanese style, small but tasty.
