Stopped for just the 1 night to break up the journey back to Scotland. Room was clean and well appointed. Decided to eat there which turned out to be a good choice. Only ordered a couple of starters to share and a loaded fries each. Starters were spot on especially the Bao buns which were really tasty. Neither of us could finish our loaded fries as the portions were more than generous. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast in the morning was also good quality and set us up for the journey home. Would definitely return.

Excellent all round

Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Dinner was very good and again helped along by staff who obviously enjoy their work. Breakfast also excellent. Only issue is finding parking space p, but again staff did a great job making the process as easy as possible

After a great welcome on arrival I was shown to my room which was spotless. Looks like it’s been recently renovated. I’ll be stopping here again when I’m next in Penrith. Great value for money.

Super room, super food downstairs, what is there not to like

The food downstairs is served by a friendly team and with a lot of selection to choose from the rooms are upto date and well maintained would definitely be stopping again 20/10

Beautiful rooms great location and food was great

Clean room, friendly staffs. In the small room efficiently many things are provided - such as a hair dryer, an iron, a mirror with lights, a kettle and drinks.

Excellent hotel. Always try and stay here when in town on business. Staff are great and Leslie’s breakfasts are spot on. Not that the other staffs breakfast are not ha ha. Recommend it to anyone as you won’t be disappointed.

What a haven after my drive from Scotland - superbly welcoming staff and explanation of room upon my arrival - was a wonderful final night of my trip returning to Norfolk the next day - thanks to all staff !!

Lovely family run hotel with a modern interior vibe in an old town building. Super friendly staff. Excellent room quiet air conditioning a big plus. Restaurant food Excellent, we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing

The staff are wonderful, fun and helpful. They were really the bright spot in our stay. The property was not up to international standards but very clean. The room was small.
