The hotel is just a block away from the metro and and a couple of blocks from the beach. There's heaps of food options nearby and it's easier to get anywhere in the city from it.
Staff was a joy, rooms are standard Ibis rooms which are consistently good anywhere in the world. I would definitely recommend to stay at the hotel if you are coming to Rio.

The price was quite high with no breakfast included, the power to the building went out twice, no shampoo or conditioner in the shower despenser, the staff were friendly and helpful
