My Points

Friendly hosts, nice, quiet location.

I was a bit worried about noise from other guests (very thin walls and doors here), but everyone was respectful, so it was a quiet night. Breakfast was quite nice.

While they have soaking tubs, the water temperature is not hot enough (just slightly higher than warm).

The place was great, very clean despite having a shared bathroom and toilet. The owner was very kind and welcoming too. However in the room, there was only a small fan to cool the room on a hot day. We opened the window but the insects would come straight into the room. Hence we could only rely on the small fan and closed the window.

This was a great way to experience Japanese hospitality at its best!
The home-made food was outstanding, as was the willingness of the hosts to offer their services as a shuttle to the ski slopes, do washing, etc.
Beautiful home with beautiful hosts. I highly recommend it and i would love to return.

"FANTASTIC" the place is extremely nice, the hosts could not do more for the guests. Highly recommend this home !!!!!!

I stayed 2 nights with my two teenage boys and it was very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were so helpful and would drive us to the ski fields at either Furano or Kitanomine each day which was only 5 minutes away. They have beautiful local foods and handmade gifts you can buy. I thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay.
