We had a really time here. About 10,000 for a night evening meal, breakfast and ticket to the dolphin show. Really good value for money. Rooms were large and the hot spring/bath wasn’t crowded (we went a little early). Food was great (beers expensive though). If you buy beers from the shop near the port it’s a third of the price as buying beer from the machine in the hotel. Recommend

Isuzu-kan 😊 Isuzu-kan, located on Himakajima Island, boasts excellent access, being just a short walk from Himakajima's West Port, and offers all rooms with ocean views where you can enjoy fresh seafood (including the famous octopus and pufferfish). It has earned high praise for its beautiful scenery and warm, homey service. The main features, as seen in reviews, are as follows: 【Positive Points】Location and Access: Located right by the West Port, it's extremely convenient as a base for swimming and exploring the island. Exquisite Food: The famous "boiled octopus" is highly praised for its tenderness and delicious taste. The pufferfish course is also generous in portion size, and they are flexible in accommodating menu changes for those who don't like raw fish. Rooms and Views: All rooms offer ocean views, and the cleanliness ensures a comfortable stay. 【Points to Note/Points that May Concern Some People】Some Facilities: Some guests have noted that the building and some guest room toilets feel dated. Stair Access: There are stairs at the entrance to the inn, which may be a little difficult if you have large luggage. Service Operation: Please note that discount coupons for affiliated parking lots (such as Shinozaki Port) may be forgotten unless you specifically ask a staff member for them.

I stayed there the other day, and when I returned to my room after dinner, I found that the plastic bottle I had left on the table had been thrown away. Vending machines on the island are expensive and it was hot, so I was planning to refill it and take it back with me. You can't just throw away a guest's belongings without their permission until they check out!

It was just okay, I guess... The octopus dish was delicious though. Apparently the water quality at Nishihama beach isn't very good, considering it's on a remote island.
