Staff were excellant, couldn't do enough for us. Room was lovely and clean and housekeeping were in every day. Entertainmant which was on nightly was amazing also. We will defonately be visiting again.

From start to finish hotel was excellent from staff cleanliness facilities food atmosphere night time cabaret bingo hotel had it all maybe a teensy Weensy reduction in bar prices other than that all excellent as per usual

All food selections excellent . Dinner and breakfast choices were very good. Staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful. Entertainment was fun and bingo break our mum enjoyed very much. From bar staff to room service staff we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return 😍

Having stayed at Ruskin many times over past few decades I find the cleanliness and staff service always to a good standard- rooms are cleaned each day. There has been a rise in bar prices however my concern is the breakfast is not of the quality I previously experienced. Whilst the layout is good with various choice of cooked or cold foods I found there has been a decline in the quality of the produce served with hot breakfast

Warm welcome on check in the benefits of opening an account for food and drink were explained well. I did so later. Room was huge clean and comfy. The shower was incredible. Bar staff were friendly and the entertainment in the evening was spot on. The Ruskin is a gem of a hotel.

The room was so nice and the staff were really friendly. The food was okay but there was only certain times that we could eat as it was included in the property. Car parking is a nightmare and couldn't find a suitable place to park and ended up getting a ticket.

1st time at the Ruskin, stayed three nights bed and breakfast, absolutely delighted, most definitely will be back. the staff were brilliant, friendly. polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, our room was spotless (as was the hotel in general),the bar service was spot on with a great choice of drinks and food, the entertainment every night in the cabaret lounge was really good, all in all a great weekend.

Its the best hotel in the area - clean and reasonably priced bar food was good and staff very helpful only little complaint - the dodgy plumming which loved to groan in the middle of the night - make sure you have earplugs ! entertainment in cabaret lounge was a bonus ( as long as you enjoy playing bingo ! )

My partner and I had a wonderful time room was Spacious and clean fun with the bingo and the act following but after that not good didn't get any sleep we were in room 4 and there was an aircon unit on the wall right under the window it was nonstop noise all night
