The Hotel was good, great view and location was near the National Mall (walking distances to Air & Space Museum) and amenities was ok. The downside was the service, when we arrived on Dec 26, we notice there wasn’t any TV remote available. So I called the front desk for help and they said “someone will bring up a remote”, but nobody ever came. So I went to the concierge the next morning as we were about to head out and told him that tour room did not have a TV remote, and he said similarly that someone will provide it to us later (I assumed someone will leave a remote at our room). Unfortunately when we came back in the evening, there was no remote. So I called to the front desh again, and again got the “someone will bring up a remote “ response. I foolishly waited until I fell asleep, nobody ever came with a remote (this was the 2nd day on Dec 27). After that I just stopped asking and learned to do it the old way by getting up and pressing the buttons on the back of the TV. Too bad our holiday experience was badly affected by such an insignificant issue.
