Best quality hotel in Southend by far!! I have stayed in many hotels across the world and this is my favorite. Fantastic owner, staff, food, rooms and location.

The location is excellent- very handy for the Cliffs Pavillion where we were going and also the beach and town centre. We were very lucky to get a parking space in the hotel car park which was great. We had room 103 which had a lovely view over the water. It was a sweltering hot day and the staff had thankfully put the AC on in our room which was much appreciated.

Absolutely stunning hotel with amazingly friendly staff. Great location to town & pier. The Cliff Lift is just opposite which is free, but donations welcome. We will return here.

Wonderful, smaller hotel with modern rooms and friendly staff. Our "sea view" room was ideal, with a perfect view of the sea. We did not eat at the hotel since our daughter has difficult dietary needs, but the dining room looked very special with the front open to the front of the hotel. Drinks on the patio were very welcome as were our well air-conditioned room with the surprised heat wave,

Great hotel, good location. highly recommend

Greeted by lovely and helpful staff on entry. Once in the room we were welcomed by a nice tidy place with a good view of the sea. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and all the other bits that could be needed for our stay were provided. The air conditioning was amazing and made our stay all that more perfect.

Excellent hotel in a fantastic central location. Lovely and clean with very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning at some point.

Nice location decent room but Tv is a lil dated and control was slow. The portion size food wise was a bit of a let down for me but it was decent. It may be one of the better/best hotels in the area.

Everything was great I have to say, the only minor thing was that TV didnt work and I reported it, nobody came to fix it but i am not really a tv person, apart from that, everything was great.

Superb choice of Hotel, the room was small but perfect in terms of everything was where it needed to be. The shower and all of the other facilities were really very good. Thank you very much for a great stay. It was a quick overnight stay, but it was excellent.

Great hotel stayed many times over the past 4 years and it has never dropped its high standard.

We stayed here for one night, and never again! On the surface the hotel looks clean and modern. However, don't expect a good night's sleep. We had an air conditioning machine humming for most of the night which meant I could not sleep. The reception team said they couldn't move us as the other rooms had the same noise, which was apparently the water purifier and was only going to be noisy during 3-4am. This noise was continuous from 2am until 5:30! So clearly they tell you anything to fob you off. I spoke to the "manager" in the morning and asked about he refund. He agreed this was warranted and asked me to email the owner. Not heard anything back from them so will have to do a chargeback if I want to see any of my money back. Please don't waste your money staying here.
