Had an incredible experience on the 3D2N river cruise. The organisation was amazing, the room was lovely, the food delicious and of course the incredible variety of wildlife you get to see on the cruises and walks. Massive thank you to our guide Zack for being so informative on every single thing we saw and having incredible talent at spotting wildlife. Would love to do this again if I get the chance to return to this amazing place and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to book with Greenview.

The experience was amazing! For the room I wouldn’t have high expectations but it turned out pretty good. You have AC, hot water (though the pressure is low), and new facilities. But the activities were the ones that made the experience great. I would rarely comment on the guide but Captain Jack was professional and knowledgeable. He took us on the cruises to find crocodiles and baby elephants, as well as the jungle walks. Big shout out to him!

Sakau Greeview Lodge was a great choice for the river cruise. They are budget friendly and the service was beyond incredible. They offer a night walk included which I couldn't find elsewhere. All the animals I saw included: Proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, orangutans, hornbills, kingfishers, monitor lizard, terrapin, eel and insects The rooms were clean and comfy. They were always clear with the itinery and times to meet. The food was so delicious and they catered for me separately knowing I was vegetarian with a separate delicious tempeh or tofu dish. They had 2 adorable kittens which is always a bonus. Finally, I left my Earphones in the dorm and they delivered them to my hostel in sandakan the next morning with no hassle. Suitable for all ages, would definitely recommend.

We spend 3D2N at the Sukau Greenview Lodge and it has been truly amazing. Our guide taught us all day long about the different species of birds, apes, crocodiles and insects living in the forest. Props to him. The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms clean and the food local and delicious. We would definitely go back.

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The lodge is very beautiful, rooms are super nice and comfortable. You get AC and also hot water for showering. The dinning area is very nice and clean. Talking about food, it was amazing, all you can eat buffet, they feed you very well. There is coffee, tea, and water 24/7, the coffee was really good. They provide juice as well during the meals, fruit, lots of veggie options and usually 2 different proteins. We also saw veggie options for people who requested them. The activities are super cool, the cruises were great and the walks too. We managed to see 4/5 as we missed the Pygmy Elephants. My only criticism for the place is that they don’t use radios to let each other know if something cool was found. We were a few minutes away from the elephants but since we didn’t know, we didn’t see them. The staff were all super friendly and very knowledgeable about the river, animals and plants. I want to give a shoutout to Hakimi as he took really good care of us during the cruises. Also, they have a space on the second floor with history and local artifacts, I would recommend listening to the guided tour. We really loved our stay, specially for the price (about $200 USD per person for 3D2N if you get it directly from them). They picked us up in Sandakan and also dropped us at Sepilok, all included in the price. We will be coming back to see the elephants at some point and we will stay here again!
