It’s my second time at this hotel in this overpriced town of Dryden, our first feeling is why am paying twice the rate that it should cost in any other town in Canada for this low budget hotel? This time our room look like someone or police busted the door, broken pieces of glass on the floor, broken toilet tank top, look like punching marks on the door, bathroom ceiling look like it was about to fall off. Looks like the hotel has long term clients as they were the same people smoking outside their room that we met 2 weeks earlier. The front desk person was welcoming. There is a big tv and fast internet on the good side. It’s better than sleeping in your car after a long day of driving.

There was issues with the shower and adjusting hot and cold water

The room was clean, the bathroom no so much. There was a used facecloth from a previous hanging on the shower rod. The water was unable to be turned off completely in the tub. The water handles in the sink were very hot to touch even though there was cold water dripping from the tap.

I assume for what it is, it was ok. I did not stay as the room was right next to the train track. The window had a bug net, but it was broken and bugs came in. Very rustic. But for a short night stay I am sure it would be ok. Just not for me.

Room was clean enough but beds were lumpy and the shower went scalding hot to ice cold by itself. Also the electrical outlet in bathroom was questionable. Outside property junky and in disrepair

The mattress protector was stained and everything was old. The ceiling had a hole in it and they pla ed us on the back. Where their was a homeless person sleeping out side 3 doors down. Not feeling very comfortable there

Some nut case was banging on all the doors at 11pm at night , then woke up to the same banging at 5 am . Security not great , sketchy area

Property was good, close to highway but lack basic amenities like drinking water. Toilet seat wasn’t clean but thankfully my wife was carrying toilet sanitizer

As an emergency place to it is ok. If you’re looking for anything else, best to keep driving. Old and getting run down by Canadian weather and poor management.

As always…wonderful and welcoming. Always stop here when we travel over the top of the big lake. Highly recommend

Great place to stay on short notice while travelling across Canada

Staff was courteous, but room was cold and smelled funny. Restaurant seemed permanently closed. Highlight was a cute little trail out back by some rapids on the Wabigoon river.

It was great. Just what I needed.
