Really friendly staff but my room was shabby with marked, stained and ripped wallpaper. It was located at the front of the property with a lot of late night noise and light from the main road. I see many other 10/10 reviews but can not say they reflected the room I was given. The room was clean, however.

Short walk from train station and easy access to shops and cricket ground.

Ideally situated near the station and a short walk to town center. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff were awesome, easy walk from train station, lots of choice for food nearby. Bus stop out front. If you got heavy luggage request room downstairs as there no lift.

The hotel was quiet and conveniently positioned. Recently decorated smart rooms with two kitchens available.

Staff didn't seem courteous. The two ladies on reception didn't make us feel welcome and informed us having a dog would be a charge of £25. We had been told over the phone previously that it was £15 and also what I had seen online. It was eventually sorted but it wasn't a good start. We also

the lady that was at the front desk when we checked in and majority of stay was so lovely and welcoming, it really makes a difference being greeted with kindness like that. the room was nice and cozy, plenty of tea for us to get through! whole experience was perfect

I use this hotel all the time for my work visits in Taunton, and honestly, its fantastic. The rooms Ive always stayed in are large, clean, comfortable and its in a great location. Both Meg and Emma are amazing, you really couldnt feel more welcomed. Great hotel with great service.

The rooms are always spotless and the staff are always helpful and friendly. To be fair, the rooms could do with an uplift but you can't fault them as they are. The hotel is in a great location.

Good business trip

Lovely clean room. Only thing id say is get a little stool instead of the chair. It sticks out and hit my toe going 2 the toilet in the night.Very quiet. Receptionquiet.mins

The hotel looked as if it's had a make over, everything clean & tidy.

As soon as we got reception staff couldn't do enough for us. First day went to the cricket got to see most of the game before rain stopped play. The rest of the match was virtually a wash out. Plodding round the town visiting places that were recommended all very good Wil be back.

The property is within 3-5 minutes walk from Taunton Station and very easy to find. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Reception is open 24 hours a day which is useful in case of problems. I booked a standard single room which was clean and warm with reasonable en suite facilities although the shower was inclined to swap from very hot to cold water without warning. The fridge in the room was useful as the hotel is room only. Coffee and tea are provided, I stayed for 2 nights and it would have been good if the mug in the room had been replaced with a clean one the second night and more coffee and tea sachets left in the room. The bedside light in the room was nice but would have been improved had there been somewhere to plug it in.

Hotel clean and tidy. Staff were ALL excellent, being friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for taunton amenities. We would def stay there again
