The hotel is fabulous, the staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are clean and luxurious. The only thing that could be improved is to fit air conditioning in the rooms. At night the room became quite stuffy and it's not possible to open patio doors at night. Apart from that - amazing

Great location, lovely room, superb food, wonderful staff!

The room was very comfortable, people friendly, the pub ambience good - I was happy to sit alone, the food on the whole very good. Minor gripes - an overly complicated towel heater which proved imposible to turn off and heated the entire room, a slightly too heavy duvet (but what can you forecast about early March?) and slightly undercooked poached eggs, which led to an unsolicited discount. Very convenient for where I needed to be.

A very well.appointed cottage in a brilliant location in the heart of Wooler. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was always very responsive when we had any queries. All the main attractions in Northumberland are easily accessible from Wooler so it's a brilliant place to stay to explore this beautiful county. I can highly recommend this lovely property.

Lovely first impression of the hotel and pub/restaurant. Very clean everywhere. Great room and facilities. Fab service from Aaron who worked very hard for the whole of our first day of stay there. Would definitely return!

Tbh, for over £200 I was expecting better than a very small, hot room overlooking the car park, with breakfast as extra charge.

The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious.

Really lovely property and great evening staff offering a really warm welcome. The morning staff didn't seem quite as enthusiastic but maybe that was just the time of day!? The facilities lose a star because the breakfast is not included and can be very expensive if you include a couple of coffees, orange juice, cereal and cooked breakfast. Great stay overall though.
