Good room although rather small bathroom to dream about the best in all the hotels I’ve stayed in recently . Food adequate and reasonable priced

The room was clean and bright. A bit noisy as it overlooked the road, but worth it to have a location sp close to the station. Staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast was fine. It was £15 for non residents, £12 for breakfasts not previously booked and £10 for residents who booked! Worth knowing! Handy Co op across the road and an excellent Booth’s supermarket very close by.

No parking on site but did manage to find on road space not to far away. Some parking on road is time limited. Reception experience differed depending on who was on duty. Breakfast was of a good standard. Linen in room was good quality and bed was comfortable. Building looking tired in places. Close to station. Nice canal walks near by with pubs just off the toe path.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room with ensuite. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. Great choice at breakfast, including those, like me, who only want a continental breakfast. We dined in the attached restaurant both nights and the food, and service, was very good. We arrived by bicycle and safe storage was provided. All in all great value for money and highly recommended.

If you are visiting Carnforth I would recommend staying at the Royal Station Hotel. The staff and especially Maggie gave first class service.
