The ocean view, the amenities, the room, everything was incredible!!! Walking distance to trails and a small beach, and the rooms were let friendly!

Incredible views and has everything you need. So close to fantastic hiking.

Gorgeous ocean views! We saw otters, seals, and bald eagles from the balcony. Stunning sunsets. Resort feel, beautifully decorated with coastal furniture. Heated floors. Comfortable beds with ocean views from every room. Keep in mind the units have varied levels, and ours had many flights of stairs. Views from every angle of the ocean and rocks while taking the stairs. The property was under construction, but during our stay, it was quiet. It's a new facility, and there are still some kinks for them to work out, such as the wifi. Be aware that you are facing the sun with large picture sliding glass doors and windows; we could have used some coverings during the intense sun exposure. A beautiful, long winding drive to the resort and multiple deer on the side of the road were spotted. The drive to Victoria is about an hour and a half.

Beautiful view..

The whole resort is under construction. Reception is in a construction office. It was 42 steps down and up to our suite, so that is not fun to schlepp suitcases. We are fairly fit people in our seventies, but that is asking a lot. Especially when you have to dispose of your own recycling etc. The view is spectacular but there is no where to walk, and food is a half hour drive away. I think the listing is a bit misleading. They need to put screens on the sliding doors to keep the mosquitoes out.

The SookePoint Ocean Cottages exceeded our expectations. The view was incredible. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. We are already planning our next visit.

Where was gym ?? We have been 2years but couldn’t use again . And would be nice to have extra blankets.

Great view, beautiful rooms. But no window coverings other than in the bedroom so there is little privacy - our unit was on the bottom and we had guests hangout out right outside our patio.

Awesome experience

SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort was absolutely incredible. The views alone are worth the trip; rugged coastline, endless ocean, and some of the most peaceful scenery we’ve experienced. Watching the waves crash against the rocks from the balcony felt unreal, especially at sunset. The cottage itself was spotless, modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with huge windows that made you feel connected to the landscape the entire time. It had the perfect balance of luxury and tranquility. The location is also fantastic if you want to explore Vancouver Island while still feeling tucked away from everything. Quiet, relaxing, and genuinely memorable. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or just a place to disconnect and recharge, this place delivers. We’ll definitely be coming back.

This is a beautiful location right on the water with views that are incredible. The unit itself was very clean and had great features. There are trails right by the property so no need to drive. We highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.
