This hotel is severely outdated, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the standard it advertises. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property has been neglected for years. The furniture is worn out, the mattresses are completely shot, and you can literally feel the springs digging into your back. Getting a decent night's sleep is nearly impossible. The bathroom was unacceptable. The shower barely drained, and because there wasn't even a shower door, water flooded the entire bathroom floor. We had to wear sandals just to walk into the bathroom because the floor remained soaked, creating a serious slipping hazard. The blow dryer did not work. White caulk and mismatched ceramic was the theme. In other words, cheap would be an improvement. The patio door glass was also cracked, reflecting the overall lack of maintenance throughout the property.The air conditioning was barely functional and nowhere close to what most North American travellers would consider acceptable. The floor tiles were chipped, the walls were dirty and scuffed, and the furniture everywhere was old, stained, and looked like it hadn't been replaced in decades. The beds are cots where you feel every spring. Little to no padding. Horrendous pillows. It’s not a queen bed - it’s two cots pushed together. I have NOTHING positive to say about this hotel.

Hotel was clean, nice location. Small shower, tiny i’d say. Elevator was loud and very slow. Staff was amazing, super nice people and always available.

This place is cool! It's old bit good. Like any older place, they could use new beds. The shower is comically small, but doable. I would definitely stay here again, the beach is right out the front door!

We had the corner room with a balcony on the 1st floor. The room was great. Perfect for the two-day stay we planned for some beach fun. Also access to the train is a mere 9 minute walk. We spent some time checking sites in Taormina.

Everything was as expected.

A very gracious hotel with yesteryear charm. My main wish was sea view and a terrace to sit and watch the day go by. It I was low season and I was quite aware of the seaside town being quiet but I could do this all year. The staff were always attentive and the breakfast buffet was perfect. Located for easy discovery of the area by train or foot. And the bed was so very comfortable. Great place for sure.

Exactly what we needed for the night. Comfortable bed, clean room with a good, filling breakfast in a convenient location to activities. I’d stay at this hotel again.

Honestly saying, please do not stay in this hotel. First of all you will not be seeing welcoming behavior by the staff at all. They are so rude and not even looking at your face while talking. When I step in my room there is a sharp chemical smell inside. I kindly asked staff to check and change my room if possible. She just said no. I asked again that she will understand how bad the room smells if she can come up and look for a second but she refused to check and told me that I have to wait somewhere. While I was trying to beg for any help, she was talking italian with another guest about me and she was insulting me to him by considering I was not able to understand. Then we were blamed that we had dinner and they tried to charge us for the dinner we never had. That was the most terrible hotel experience and rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. If you respect yourself please stay somewhere else.

One of our favorite places! Excellent service. Arrived several hours prior to check in time and the desk called to have the room readied asap. Absolutely lovely room with sea view and balcony. Great service including the beach side restaurant. Pizza was excellent as well as the drinks and at very reasonable prices. Beautiful all around.

The beds were not comfy or firm but it was the noise of the train and the scooters that kept waking us up. If you are on the ocean view side this would not be an issue. The breakfast was great and access to the beach was amazing

Ok before we booked had read a few negative reviews about this hotel but we were pleasantly suprised. The hotel is gorgeous from the outside and is a perfect location for the beach which is just across the road. We had a balcony room which had a great view onto the beach and sea. The room although a bit dated was extremely clean and large enough for 3 people. The bathroom was fine and the room was serviced everyday by the pleasant smiling cleaners. We had breakfast which was fine..continental. We ate out every night and there are some great local resteraunts. The staff at the hotel were great especially Karina at the front reception she could not do enough to help and always polite with a big smile. There is a bar area and pizza place run by the hotel on the beach area and this was great. Dominic the bar man was superb. Letojanni is beautiful and is not over commercialised. The locals are very friendly. This hotel is 3 star and does exactly what it needs to do. There are no bells or whistles but it provides great value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and look forward to going back.

Great stay, old facilities but the locatiob is great, the room was comfortable, my recommendation- get the room with sea view balcony, totally worth it - amazing sunrise there

Hotel San Pietro is a convenient located hotel in Letojanni but offers very little in terms of a first-rate experience. Rooms are dated and old fashioned, dining options limited although staff were pleasant and friendly. It is a three-star hotel after all, not terrible but not great either.

This is a great location. Could use some updating. Staff were very friendly and most helpful.

Great location on the beach. Very close to all other busy tourist towns but nice as can park and relax after visiting them.

Vista dalla stanza molto bella. Ma stanza molto vecchia e con considerevoli problemi. Aria condizionata non potente abbastanza per gestire il caldo. Porta della doccia che non si poteva aprire del tutto perché sbatteva sui sanitari. Bidet inutilizzabile per gli spazi limitati. Prezzi degli ombrelloni che cambiavano ogni giorno (e non parlo del weekend). Personale molto cortese.

Very close to beach area and restaurants. Good value.
