Cold air conditioning, good location fairly centrally located between Burriana (biggest beach) and “Europe’s balcony”. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool was clean but small (6 person) but it felt great. The bar under the property was not rowdy or loud, and they were hosting a World Cup watch the party. We walked from the bus station to there mid-day, mostly down hill. Check in was a breeze. They let us keep our bags there (our room wasn’t quite ready, we had gotten there early. The property is beautiful. Lots of plants. Seems like it was converted apartment building. Marble floors and decorated with a lot of lovely plants. No elevator! (It seems like most of the people in Nerja are retired Europeans from Germany, France or the UK on Holiday). So plan accordingly, you’ll need to carry your bags up stairs. The rooms are perfectly fine. Very clean. It’s a little dated, but it’s nice to have a kitchen and cold AC.

I had originally booked as they had a pool listed only to find out they open in May. Check in process was concerning as they did not get back to me. I had to reach out to the virtual agent for follow up. The virtual agent then let me know that someone would be there at my check in time and provided their name. I had reached out to see if there was an iron and received no response. Some noise from bar below as mentioned and not too bad and is expected. However, as they were getting the pool ready for May opening, there was construction noise in the morning. Overall okay place for a few nights as it is centrally located. The room is somewhat dated and could use a refresh but for the price was reasonable. Great area and close to shops restaurants and beaches. Nerja was lovely and I'd like to visit again.

I liked the location, easy access to shopping and bars/restaurants. Beach only 5 minutes walk. I didn’t like noise outside, traffic. We put out our clean room sign on our door, was ignored sometimes. This resulted in towels not as clean as wanted and we had to buy some toilet rolls due to us running out.

Perfect affordable hotel with all the amenities you need. Plus it's very close to public transportation and the best beaches in Nerja.

We stayed in room 2, in the single bed next to the window, the mattress spring is squeaky, the bedding isn’t clean, I can see several short hair from previous people, on the fitted sheet and in between the bed cover and flat sheet. The shower head was too short and it leaks when you held by hand. Shower curtain was too short, doesn’t cover the shower from front to back, and water would spray out of shower stall because the shower head can only aim at back of shower wall. Sound proof is not great, can hear people talking and walking above and nearby. The room is spacious, location is great. 10 minutes walk to the balcon de europe. The roof top pool was good for cool down after a hot day. In room AC very comfortable. However, I wouldn’t stay again because of unclean bedding.

Try and fix up the air conditioner, the rooms were small so needed cooling.

Room is a good size. Cupboards, fridge and bath a bit worn. Loose wiring in bathroom. Facilities excellent. Overall.... great value for money!

Nice compact studio apartment in the heart of Nerja. It has a rooftop terrace for some outdoor time/sun bathing etc. It is on a quiet street, very little traffic noise. Todo bien.

In a good area roof top pool not clean needs updating rooms still look the same when we came 15 years ago

Pepe Mesa is perfectly situated for exploring Nerja and enjoying the beaches and bars. WElcomed by a lovely team on reception, rooms are clean and well-equipped. Plus there's a lovely roof terrace with views of the sea and mountains behind. Lovely stay! thank you!

5 minutes walking distance to the centre. Restaurants and bars very near. Open air car parking at €1 was 6 minutes away, at the rear of the Mercadona supermercado . Do not use the Plaza España underground parking as it is hugely expensive . The apartment we had was clean and ok, but modernization is definitely needed.

Loved the old Spanish building in the centre of town , great bar adjoining , only downside is the parking situation had to park in the municipal car park at €22 for 20 hours

Basic, budget accommodation. Reasonably priced and a nice walk to restaurants and the ocean. It was nice to have a mini kitchen with bowls, spoons, etc. Small double bed vs a Queen sized in the main room. Parking was a bit tricky to figure out. Despite having a bar/restaurant below, we weren't bothered by any noise.
