NOT RECOMMENDED The hotel failed to provide safety and comfort for guests, with unreasonable excuses. Checked in on July 23, 2026, 7:00-7:30 PM. Room 319. I proceeded to my room and did my activities. Around 11:00 PM, while I was sound asleep due to exhaustion, I suddenly woke up with a start as the door was being forced open from the outside. The noise was loud. Luckily, in addition to the lock, the deadbolt was also attached. I was shocked to suddenly wake up because the door was being forced open. When I approached, I heard the voices of two men, for some unknown reason, but one of them continued to try to open the door, which was still jammed with the deadbolt. When I held it from inside, they were surprised and asked, "Why is there someone here?" By the way, I didn't open the door (the deadbolt was attached, but there was a small gap because they seemed to have a key card). One of them then asked, "Ma'am, do you have a guest?" "Ma'am, are you a guest?" I simply replied, "What do you want?" "Yes, I'm a guest." And then they left. At 11:03, I called the receptionist and complained loudly. According to the receptionist, it was a security error, a termite project (I couldn't hear clearly because I was still in shock). It took a while before the receptionist came up and apologized. The reason was that there was a security error, and that the officers were going to do the fogging because they had requested it. I denied it, saying I hadn't made any request. The receptionist then argued, saying I had the wrong room and pointing to the room across from me. I said I didn't accept it and would protest strongly on social media. All night I couldn't sleep at all. Every time there was the slightest noise, I was nervous. It was uncomfortable. And I was always startled by every sound. The next day, I decided not to continue my stay (I had originally booked two nights), because I was worried it might happen again. When I checked out, I was met by an unknown person, whose name I don't want to know. He continued to explain that there had been a fogging plan the night before. I didn't understand what fogging meant at night. The officer also said that the remaining night would be refunded and I was asked to press the approve button. I didn't reply and immediately left town. I later checked my email and saw that the refund approval time was 2x60 minutes and that there would still be a deduction. Meanwhile, that afternoon, I had something else to do. I also received a WhatsApp message from the Edo Hotel staff, asking to contact me by phone to explain the fogging again. But I was already fed up with that excuse, so I ignored it. To illustrate, this hotel isn't new, and the air conditioning in the rooms is central. In my opinion, with the central air conditioning system on, even at night, it's almost unheard of for hotels to fog. Moreover, they allowed security to go up and open guest rooms without any information or request from the guest. As far as I know, that's the responsibility of the receptionist, not the security. To this day, I still feel the trauma when I sleep at night. And it's extremely uncomfortable. Be careful, female guests traveling alone while staying at this hotel. Once again, the safety and comfort of guests cannot be guaranteed at this hotel.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, there are smoking rooms, good hot water, good service, the city center is close to Purwosari station, just a short walk away.

Upon first checking in at Sala View, the electricity was problematic, so we were eventually directed to a new room. The wait was quite long.

Regarding the stay experience, it was okay, the staff were all friendly and okay… The only thing that was a bit strange was that in the morning we were told that the car had a flat tire. After checking, there were no leaks and it's safe until now… I have a feeling that maybe it was because the parking was blocking it, and even the security guard who was parking it, then the person who closed the car got angry that's why my car was flat tire… hahaha. I wanted to extend but I was too lazy, I haven't checked the CCTV yet 😁😁
