The hotel staff was friendly, and we were able to store our luggage before check-in and after checkout. We were also able to request early check-in. It's close to Malang Station, and we could even walk there. The room was also clean; we stayed for three days and it was cleaned daily. The only downside was the intermittent Wi-Fi. Otherwise, it was great. If I were to return to Malang, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the same hotel again.

First impressions upon entering the hotel: it smells good... The elevator smells good, and the hallways in the rooms smell good too. Location: Malang city center, close to Tugu Square, Kayutangan, and Klojen Market. Within walking distance. Amenities: Receptionist and hotel staff were friendly. Room: Quite clean. Toilet: Clean Notes: 1. The shower and toilet jets have a lot of moss on them. 2. The bath towels may need to be renewed as they are no longer white. If I have the opportunity to stay in Malang, I will return to Same Hotel.

For the price, staying here is well worth it. The only downside is the lack of parking, but the security guard is very helpful in arranging a parking spot for your car (leave the key with the security guard).

It's a shame that the service is not good enough for a hotel with many visitors. I checked in on June 25, 2026. I arrived at 12:20, and the receptionist said the room wasn't ready. Okay, I chose to wait. At 1:00 PM I confirmed again, and the information was not ready. At 1:40 PM I confirmed again, and they said yes. If I hadn't asked, I wouldn't have been informed that it was ready. After being given the access card, there was no apology from the receptionist for the long wait, whereas in other hotels the wait was less than 5 minutes and they apologized for the long wait, here I waited for over an hour in silence. Secondly, regarding the room, when I booked on the app, I had specifically requested that I check in at 12 and asked for a room with a city view, but what I got was a view of a building wall. Please pay attention to customer requests. Thank you.
