Rating: 7/10 ⭐ Stayed at Thistle Port Dickson Resort during the school holiday period. Pros: Ample parking spaces are available, although the walk from the parking area to the hotel can be quite far. The Superior Room was spacious and comfortable. We were given a room with a nice pool view. The resort offers plenty of facilities and activities for children, making it a good choice for families. One of the highlights was the beautiful beach, where we enjoyed a clear and stunning sunset. Cons: The check-in process was slow, with long queues during the school holiday season. Breakfast was average and quite basic, with nothing particularly memorable or special. The biggest issue was the bathroom design. Water easily flowed out from the bathroom into the room because there was no proper water stopper at the bathroom entrance, causing the floor to become wet and flooded after showering. Overall, the spacious room, family-friendly facilities, and beautiful sunset views made the stay enjoyable. However, the bathroom drainage issue and average breakfast affected the overall experience. 7/10.

Love every single thing about this hotel! We even get the chance to check-in early. Lots of activities provided (with extra fees) but valuable! Big swimming pool and please please please try their breakfast buffet! Amazing food 👍🏻

This area is very family-friendly, especially for families with babies. I really enjoyed the water playground and the beach area. However, I was very disappointed with the room conditions. The water in the room was extremely dirty when I turned on the tap; the water came out dark yellow in color. It looked very unclean. The room itself was old and not properly maintained. The windows were dusty and had clearly not been cleaned. The bed sheets were also dirty and had stains on them. As for the breakfast, it was okay, but there was not much variety and the food options were quite limited. The taste was average and could be improved.

Room not ready even after 3:30 PM. General building and room really in rundown state. Amenities also really need serious upgrade. Curtain really in bad shape. Pillow corner with a lot of stains. Beach frontage and landscape really not been properly maintained. Infinity pool in bad shape as well. Water quality in pool also questionable.

Room space is good. Nice sea view and pool. Best place to take awesome beach side photos. However, bathroom toilet flush not worked as expected took longer time to refill water. Beverages were limited only 2 small water bottles. Nothing inside mini refrigerator. Overall it is good

We had a wonderful stay in your esteemed resort. Hospitality is superb. Food and drinks were optimal. The room with an exceptional view of the pool and sea was a dream. Keep up with your good work. Thanks a million.

Great resort for a short holiday stay

Beautiful place. Nice & big pool and great seaview. Decent room. Love the big bed. The only downside is u need to pay to play pingpong. This is the first time i encounter charges to play pingpong. For other activities also got charges but still acceptable. Anyway pool and kids room are free.

overall was quite okey, staffs are polite and friendly. what make our stay unpleasant is condition of bathroom, its floor level is same as room floor, so water keeps flowing from bathroom to outside (room side). It was so messy.

I had a very unpleasant stay. The room was not clean – the floor had a lot of hair, and the bed seemed to have mites. After sleeping, my legs were swollen and itchy, which made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness and hygiene need serious improvement before I could consider staying here again. Breakfast spread was good and serving nice pastries.

The room curtain was too old and torn. The water flush was not functioning well. The water pressure was very slow and the water heater was not working well.

This hotel just near the beach, the cleanliness is out, from the floor till bedsheet, floor full with dust, sand etc, smelly pillow. We had to cover the pillow with our extra cloth to sleep. I hope hotel mgt can look into it seriously as the rating for this hotel is 4star. We will come again just for the beach.

Old hotel, on going renovation. Hopefully after renovation, the room appear fresher with fully carpet floor, new bed as our bed frame broken

The bathroom dirty. Not to repeat even though the pool was good for kids.

Unpleasant stay. They need to change everything. Floor mould, bathroom also bad. Bed is the worst. Smelly cadar, smelly sarung bantal. Bau kepam 😓.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Expected from 4/5 star hotel in terms of facilities. The room we were assigned to a bit of a dissappointment.
