I stayed here for 10 nights. Because it's the closest to Adventist Hospital (a 7-minute walk), I found this hotel to be the most affordable. The rooms are spacious and clean, a little dated but clean. It's close to restaurants, malls, and convenience stores. Laundry facilities are provided, which is very helpful for long stays.

Comfortable, cold AC, clean, unfortunately the Wi-Fi in my room is slow.

I had a great stay in Penang for my family medical trip.

TV doesn't work. Gym is minimal, amenities and water bottle are minimal, no sandals provided. But the room is clean overall.

Based on three stays here: The rooms are very spacious. The soundproofing is a bit lacking, so it depends on whether the neighbors are noisy or not. Housekeeping is flexible about cleaning times. Close to a hawker center, but the further up you go, the more tourist prices become.

The hotel supplied drinking water through a dispenser on each floor. We booked a standard suite, it's next to the main road and noisy. I normally sleep easily, but not on the first night. So we moved to the deluxe suite, adding RM30/night, and the room was quiet. The gym was basic. 7 minutes' walk to the Adventist Hospital, 5 minutes' walk to Taman Emas resto that served yummy asam laksa and kuey tiauw. Next to the food hawkers that I didn't get a chance to try.

All the staff, from the front office to the housekeeping team, are very polite and friendly. Most importantly, they are extremely helpful and always willing to assist us whenever we need anything.

The building is basic, being an apartment building. The lobby isn't luxurious, but the units are nice. They come complete with a kitchen and a movie room. We rented a one-bedroom unit. It's close to Adventist Hospital, and there's a food court around the corner from Adventist. There are also several convenience stores within the apartment complex.

A perfect place to stay for a large family. Spacious rooms, a kitchen, clean, and close to everything. Definitely worth it 😆. The only downside is the lack of hot water for showers.

I've been a frequent visitor to Penang for medical check-ups. And Tropics Eight Suite really delivers! Nice and friendly receptions. I love the Standard Suite, even my son loves to run around the room as the room is so spacious. Last but not least, the bathroom. The housekeeping really did their job cleaning the bathroom. So clean without a speck of dust!! I'd love to stay at the Standard Suite again, but sometimes it's not available. Please make the room available again.

Spacious room, perfect for family stay. Staff friendly too. Minus no have restaurant inside the hotel, so need walk around a bit or simply order.
