Air conditioning did not work. First, it won’t work if the key fob isn’t in (no electricity without the key in the wall) and it won’t work if a window is opened. So we turned it on and tried to sleep but it was so hot in the room we gave up. So we opened the windows. But people on the streets of Siena are loud. So didn’t get to sleep until 4. At 7, it was so loud again that we couldn’t sleep. So we reported the problem. Was told that opening the windows was a good solution. The air conditioner was clearly not serviced in years and couldn’t get air in due to clogged filters. So two sleepless nights.

Hola, estuvimos 2 noches, no servía el aire acondicionado y cuando solicitamos una solución, nos dijeron que no había nada que hacer, hasta 2 días después de que saliéramos. Nos ofrecieron un desayuno (buffet) variado y solo era pan, croissant, jamón y queso ( no opciones de proteína como huevo o más saludable como fruta) y precio 14€. Ubicación excelente, servicio y estado de la habitación mala.

Fantastic location in Siena and the staff was helpful with everything from extra pillows to arranging cab to train station. Like many hotels in Italy, the bed & shower were a little small, and you need to have an Italy power adapter vs EU.

L'emplacement est plus que parfait au centre de Siena, par contre loin de la gare, 20minutes a pied, avec des valises c'est faisable même si pas facile sur les rues pavés. Hotel vieux sans confort ni petit déjeuner, l'ascenseur n' inspire pas du tout confiance ! Point positif une salle comum avec TV, une table, un canapé et des livres avec un joli balcon qui donne sur la rue piétonne. Si on cherche pas le luxe Ok pour une nuit de passage.

A very basic hotel with few amenities, but in a great location as it's just steps away from Siena's main square. Just minutes walking to all the main sites. I stayed for just two night and it was perfectly convenient. A bit noisy in the evening but quieted down at bedtime.

We had the room across the street from the main entrance so window directly to the street. It s the handicap room and we are not. So the bathroom wasn’t great for us. The shower floor was dirty and i had to clean before I showered. There is a huge lack of outlets. I asked to have 2 twin beds and i ended up with a 3rd bed that was uncomfortable and crowded the room

Located in the center, which is perfect to wonder around. If carrying luggage be aware it’s a 950m walk.

We booked four rooms for two nights. Even though we paid in advance, we left after the first night because it was such an awful experience. The rooms were extremely cold, the heating didn't work and there were no extra blankets provided. We couldn't ask for assistance as there was no one at the desk from the time we checked in (at 4pm) until the time we left the next day (1pm). And although breakfast was included in the cost of the rooms, we couldn't find where it was served. (Apparently it was inside the hotel next door.) We have all traveled extensively for many years and agreed it was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.

Room was great. Bathroom was nice. The location requires a large uphill climb if walking from the train station. The property is in the center of the city with all the great sites and restaurants near by. Would recommend staying here.

Rooms were not clean; I found some stuff on bed. Even rhough, Expedia photos were not accurate, in rhe end we had a good stay.

I would say location is the only good thing about the hotel. The room was very dirty (including the floor which made my socks black) but the worst was this lady which I think was the owner. I went in for breakfast and she started to almost interrogate me because she thought I hadn’t paid for it (which I did). It was a very awkward situation
