The rooms are small-- I don't know how much a couple would enjoy them for any long stay. That being said, as a solo traveler it was fine and budget friendly. The best thing was the staff-- i had trouble trying to track down a tote bag i left on the plane and the staff was so kind letting me use the hotel phone or even their own phones to call the Lost Luggage office at Heathrow. ( Look around and don't leave anything because I would give thatcoffice a 1. They don't answer their phones!!!) Anyway, for a traveler on a budget. Z at Piccadilly was great! A/C!! Shower and toilet and elevator that work!!

GREAT LOCATION, BUT... I HATED THE OPEN SHOWER CONCEPT. UNLESS YOU WERE HOLDING THE HAND SHOWER IN ONE HAND AT A SPECIFIC ANGLE IT SHOWERED THE BATH MAT, AND LEFT WATER PUDDLES ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR, THE VERTICAL RACKS FOR BATHROOM TOWELS ARE SOMEONE'S JOKE! THE TEENY BATHROOM SINK WAS SO MINUSCULE AS IF MADE FOR A CHILD. BED IS SQUEEZED SO TIGHTLY INTO THE ROOM THAT I LITERALLY SLEPT WITH EITHER MY ELBOW ON THE NIGHT TABLE OR ON WINDOWSILL, DEPENDING WHICH SIDE OF THE BED I WAS ON. MILDEW AND SIGNS OF WATER DAMAGE PRESENT EVERYWHERE ON WINDOWS AND IN THE BATHROOM... THE STAFF PROVIDED THE CLEANING OF THE PUDDLES AND FRESH TOWELS ON REQUEST, BUT THIS HOTEL IS AT A GREAT LOCATION. AND THAT'S JUST THAT.

The four of us stayed at the Z Hotel Piccadilly, UK for three nights. This was our first time staying at this chain that apparently has several Z Hotels throughout London. It was a terrible experience. I'm not sure what to call the room we were assigned but it was claustrophobic. The room was so small it didn't even have room for a mini-fridge! You couldn't change your mind in this tiny room. The double bed was plastered against the wall. No end tables. I had to crawl over my wife to get to my side of the bed. Thank God we were only staying for a short time. DO NOT book this hotel. London is expensive already. Spend your money wisely but not here or pick a park bench in Hyde Park!

Basement room was quiet but small, perfect if you want to travel around most of the day and just stop to rest. Very close to stations and attractions.

The room was perfect for what we needed somewhere to rest out head for the night after a concert. Room was clean, compact and ideal. Definitely would stay here again.

My experience was not so good, I do not like those rooms in the basement with no windows , the room was so tiny and the bathroom was so uncomfortable with no privacy and the water is not hold on the shower it goes everywhere on the bathroom when someone use the shower it is a mess in the floor with water. First room a/c was not working and they had to change me to another room and this room the a/c was ok but it has a bad smell coming from the pipes , I think that been in the basement all was travelling from those pipes and the smell was not good. I think that the price of these hotels in london is too expensive for what they have to offer. Next time I will think on getting a VRBO with privacy on the bathroom and tub or shower where the water do not go to the floor when someone use the shower.

Clean, modern, compact rooms. If you're not spending loads of time in the room it will be absolutely fine. Water in the room was a nice touch. My only criticism is the bathroom wall/door is not very private at all - glass and it really isn't covered in a strong enough privacy film.

The location is great, and the basic concept of a tiny-room hotel is good too — so long as scrupulous attention to cleanliness and comfort is paid.

Great stay for the price! The room smelled a little musty, perhaps because it was in the basement, but everything was pretty clean. The staff were pleasant as well.

You just have to wait 10-15 minutes for your room to be prepared and that’s it.

This hotel was ideally located, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I had two great nights of sleep. I couldn’t ask for more.
