We had a brief overnight stay at The Rocky Cove B&B for our time in Ilfracombe, North Devon. Being an older property, the amenities were adequate for our short stay. We were lucky enough to find parking at the front of the property but like all places in the UK, if this was not available, would have been challenging. Our host was very accommodating but be sure to note that even though the property is a B&B, breakfast may not automatically be included in your rate which the host pointed out on arrival.

Room was perfect size for a single overnight stay, host was welcoming, showed me the room which had all the essential amenities (tea/coffee etc). Was perfectly located in centre of town, close to Tunnels Beaches (wedding venue). Never felt rushed to check out, and host was kind enough to provide a slightly earlier check-in. Would recommend

Conveniently located ,my room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good. My only gripe was that although it is common with hotel chains for breakfast to be extra, when staying in a Bed & Breakfast I expect Breakfast to be included in the price when booking and not as an extra. The sign above the door says Bed &Breakfast and that’s what I expect when I book.

Jonah was a lovely host, he was so friendly and helpful from the minute I arrived at the Rocky Cove. He was helpful enough to recommend taxi drivers as I was attending a wedding. Breakfast was delicious in the morning too and I had a great night’s sleep, the environment was cosy and quiet.

Lovely room with a fantastic bath and shower in the bathroom. In the bedroom there is a huge tv which you can move the angle of the screen so that you can view comfortably from either the bed or small sofa, the tv even had a fire stick which we really appreciated. The heating was just right too, not too hot or too cold. Fabulous central location and free on road parking about 10 min walk away. Jonah the owner is lovely and checked we had everything we needed, he even let us check in early.

The welcome was warm and so nice. We got the highest room and had a super view. The Rocky Cove is in the very center and close to the ocean. Perfect.

We were only staying for 1 night, arriving late and checked out early but was grateful for the clear instructions and in advance and communication. The room was lovely- it was clean, had tea and coffee facilities and the temperature was great. The location was fantastic.

A great little B&B - lovely room and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is proper and cooked to order. Host is most welcoming. Ideal for the harbour area restaurants and bars.

Beautiful room, interaction with owners was polite and minimal and we felt comfortable during our stay, met the owner in person when leaving and she was very lovely. Information of the surrounding area was available in the room which we found really useful. Lovely location and really central. Great choice for food and drink

Really lovely room, the nicest room we have ever stayed in! Light, bright and beautifully done. Spotlessly clean.The bathroom was outstanding, a real treat. Upon our arrival we were greeted by lovely friendly host. We were contacted ahead of arrival with all the options for parking which was very helpful. Would certainly highly recommend .
