This hotel was absolutely delightful. Tucked away on a charming alley, it has friendly staff, a lovely terrace overlooking the ocean and large comfortable rooms. We were lucky to have a room with a view of the ocean. Highly recommended

Incredible location and view from room. So easy to walk into streets and harbour area. Parking isn’t easy, but only a walk down to the port road. Suggested that you don’t attempt to take a car to the door, extremely narrow and cul de sac. Getaria is just wonderful and staying here a special memory.

The hotel felt like a step back in time. We absolutely loved our room, the views were magnificent; the staff were helpful and friendly. What a stunning town. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We’ll be back!

The room with a view was spectacular. We were comfortable and enjoyed watching the surfers and sunset.This was a very peaceful and restful stop for us.

Great boutique style hotel in the heart of Getaria. Rooms overlooking the sea are superb providing fantastic views that make for a fairly unique experience that was a highlight of our visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with a reasonable selection of quality produce both savoury (meats/cheese) and sweet, selection of hot breakfast options is limited. Driving to the hotel is via a narrow street which is accessed by driving up a small hill on the right just past the traffic lights - this street is not immediately apparent when you arrive and the adjacent street is pedestrianised so it can be confusing, just take it slowly! Parking is available for 2 cars in a garage further down the street @ €15 per night - manoeuvring into this garage can be problematic if one space is already filled. Be sure to check out the Balenciaga Museum in Getaria - top class display of an iconic fashion designer's work.

Very helpful staff but right parking and lack some basic toilet amenities. Overall is good location and ocean view.

Excellent stay and great location. Fabulous sea views

Unfortunately we never had the chance to stay. We couldn’t get there. Very difficult you couldn’t drive your car up the hill. The road was only pedestrian and it was very difficult to get there with your suitcase. We had to find another hotel at the last minute.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the water. Incredible staff (Babu was extremely helpful and friendly, the others also). Rooms very comfortable and lovely. Parking not so convenient but there is an option.

Beautiful boutique hotel with stunning views! Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near the old town, bars and restaurants, the Balenciaga Museum,etc. Only booked for one night in Getaria but will definitely stay here again!

Ocean view unbelievable- right from our bed! Friendly staff too

This is a charming hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were excellent. The only negative is the absence on any parking and having to rely on street parking in the adjoining commercial district. Also, actually dropping off and picking up luggage is a challenge in the narrow cobbled streets. But after you are checked in, it is a fabulous location with great views and amazing charming dining options, beach close by.

I really liked this hotel for its uniqueness, location, stunning views, and great staff. You have to keep in mind that the building is very old, from something like the 1600’s , and there are nuisances to any old building versus a new structure. There are areas that could use some upgrades, simple things like pillows but that being said, the benefits of this gem are worth it.

This is an amazing hotel. Of special note the staff, especially , Buba was so helpful with check in and recommending restaurants! We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend the Saiaz Getaria Hotela!

Friendly staff, great location, great views

amazing stay in this lovely boutique hotel in Getaria. It boasts the most amazing view even without a room with sea view since there is a welcoming balcony and “library” for all to enjoy.

The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay in Getaria a memorable experience. Thank you!
