We held my mother’s celebration of life here. Management staff were helpful and considerate. Whilst the bar staff were polite, very poorly organised. The queue for drinks was always vast with staff perched in front of the till on the customer side doing nothing to help. Completely oblivious or didn’t care, hard to tell. I believe they may have been inputting food orders, but a majority of the time they were looking at their phone or the scenery.

This hotel is in a lovely location by the start of the Norfolk Broads. The patio area looks out on the river. We had dinner on the first night. My rump steak was too soft for me in texture & felt poor quality. The bar man was ignorant to the type of cider they were serving (dry or sweet ) & showed disinterest, just saying it was ‘wet’, which disappointed us. If you need somewhere close to the town centre then this is fine. The town was pleasant & had a lovely church to look round.

THE ROOM WE OCCUPIED HD A SIT DOWN SHOWER ONLY,WHICH WE INITIALLY FOUND INCONVENIENT, BUT WE MANAGED. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Lovely old hotel next to the river. Room was spacious and well appointed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good parking. Restaurant and bar with riverside seating.

This was an old building renovated as a hotel by the river. Excellent location for a week or weekend, great local amenities and on site restaurant and bar with outside dining area, all by the river. Would recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

Nice and easy check in. Parking spacious. Hotel is in a nice setting walkable to Town and lovely river view. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. My only fault would be the bath/shower. You could not stand up to shower the ceiling is too low (there is a sign stating do not stand in the bath) Fine for 1 night, difficult to shower I would not stay in this room again personally

Great hotel and staff. Close to pool in village too.
