The elevator didn’t work… had to lug my two suitcases up the stairs to the third floor. They provided a room that sleeps four but had only one queen bed, one set of towels and no sofa. The door is locked after hours so don’t expect to come in after midnight. It’s a joke!

I like the hotel, it was clean, staff is nice, breakfast is excellent. I didn't use the spa this time.

I was disappointed. As a former resident of Kongsvinger I happen to know that this used to be the very best Hotel in the town. It can now only be described as 'tired'. The staff were courteous, but not especially customer oriented. Room was comfortable, but not what I expected of a higher end hotel. The sauna was good, but the pool was very cold. Breakfast on day 1 was interesting as the yoghurt placed on the buffet had gone off. Not the very best advertisement for Kongsvinger.

No hair dryer or sufficient electrical outlets

Find something else, even a tent. Totally unworthy of the price charged. The room is tiny/claustrophobic. I have stayed in B&B with larger rooms and better condition. The toilet is next to the bed, with a cover that is impossible to cover without a loud bang and a door that does not close, it just barely shields the view. When I complained upon arrival, I was told "all rooms are the same and the place is being slowly re-modelled". They should close the place until the remodeling is done. The breakfast was OK, but not enough to save this review. If anyone from EXPEDIA visited the place, they would have taken off the list. SHAME EXPEDIA, you can do better!

We had to change rooms. The toilet in the bathroom was dirty had not been cleaned. I complained and got another room. That room and bathroom were clean. We hope it was a one time mistake.

Everything was amazing, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Bar menu is very limited. Lots of dogs stayed last night, got a bit noisy.

We were stuck in Kongsvinger for a day due to confusion on train reroute for track maintenance on ticket from Oslo to Stockholm. We booked this hotel when we found out we'd be stranded for a day with the kids. Hotel was great about accommodating our 2 adult, 2 child family in one of the only 2 twin bed rooms left and added a fold out bed.

Ikke bra. Slitt hotell som trenger mye kjærlighet

Der har de mye å gå på....ikke sikring på vinduer i 4 etasje. Dårlig vedlikehold....

Enkelt men helt ok. Frokost ok.

Supert opphold i år som i fjor. Fikk litt gratis mosjon da heisen stoppet og vi hadde rom i 3.etasje. Heisen sto forresten i fjor også.

Ok hotell, til prisen Kunne med fordel vore finare utenfor spisesal

Frokost OK, men middag skuffende. Fikk beskjed i skranken om at vi ikke trengte å forhåndsbestille bord. Det stemte jo ikke. Fikk i all hast et bord i en mørk krok. Noen i gruppa måtte vente lenge på maten. Servitøren gjode imidlertid det beste ut av situasjonen.

Veldig god frokost og fint frokost lokale. Men ellers, håper de nye eierne ser potensialet i modernisering av Vinger hotell, det trengs! Håper også i en eventuell rehabilitering at taklampene i resepsjon blir ivaretatt 👍

Veldig hyggelig betjening.

Greitt hotell med god frukost, men lite bad Innsjekkinga gjekk raskt og greitt. Rommet var lite, men det var positivt at det hadde kjøleskåp. Badet var òg lite; eg er 179 cm høg og syntest det var for lite plass der. Frukosten var god, med mellom anna bacon og eggerøre. Eit minus var at hotellrestauranten var stengd på sundag. Eg hadde òg besøk av ein eldre ven som bad resepsjonen om å ringja meg, men han vart i staden bedd om å ringja meg sjølv. Det trekte noko ned på inntrykket av servicen. Alt i alt eit greitt opphald, men med nokre klare minuspunkt.

Litt slitt hotell, men rent

Ryddig og hyggelig personalet, men dårlig vedlikeholdt hotell med kjedelig frokost.
