I didn’t appreciate the first front desk clerk. Young with dark hair. She talked way too fast, didn’t explain things well and was a little arrogant. The next day the front desk staff person was the total opposite REALLY friendly, genuinely nice and helpful ~ a mature woman with grey hair and was wearing purple.

The onsite restaurant was always closed. makes it more complicated to plan eating.

This is a beautifully appointed hotel on the St. John’s harbour. Very close to restaurants, pubs, jelly bean row, The Battery and Signal Hill. We also had a very good meal in the hotel restaurant.

G Modern, right downtown, walking distance to George Street, amazing staff. Great stay!

Treated my parents to a night at The Alt...they LOVED it (as do my husband and I...we've stayed here numerous times!). Everything was perfect... from the staff to stay...and everything in between ☺️ Great job!!

We stayed 2 nights at the Alt Hotel. It is conveniently located short stroll from George St and all that’s happening in St.Johns. The hotel is lovely, parking is available, the rooms are modern and clean and the staff is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

I loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic and the room was spotless and wonderful. We had a terrific view of Signal Hill. Room had great amenities and so comfortable. Parking was easy. We did not dine at the hotel but we enjoyed coffee, yogurt and cheese scone for breakfast at the little bistro and it was great. So many shops and food choices nearby. 10/10.

Modern, well maintained hotel, perfectly located, close to restaurants, bars, the harbour. Great staff, always smiling and ready to help. Our room was a bit small but very comfy.
