The staff were outstanding. So helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome. The food was great. And the location is fantastic.

Really nice and peaceful place. It feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere but the city is very close. Sunsets are absolutely beautiful. The friendly kitty added to the vibe!

Great lodge close to the airport. It's peaceful, has an expansive property and beautiful swimming pools. All the food was spectacular and the staff was wonderful. A great starting point or ending point for your flights out of Windhoek. I'm still dreaming of the oxtail stew that I had for lunch, best meal of my whole trip.

River Crossing Lodge is a rest for your soul. Magnificent views, excellent food, nice and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the firm bed and the option to book with their mouth-watering dinner included. I enjoyed walking around on the property and would highly recommend if you are in the area.

My room was its own beautifully designed little house with an unobstructed view! It felt like I was the only one on the whole property whenever I was in it. The staff is incredible and I couldn’t believe how good the food was. Truly exceptional. It’s in the hills just outside Windhoek and is one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever stayed. I booked it for my first night in Namibia and was extremely annoyed that I hadn’t booked it for my last.

Very nice location with great views: either towards the hills or towards the city. Great and friendly service with a smile. Rooms are well done with space for luggage. A small personal patio (or stoep as they call it) with comfortable chairs when used with the cushions from the inside chairs.

If you want to start your Namibia holiday straight after landing, this is a good place to start. Only 8 mins drive to Windhoek, it has stunning views from almost anywhere on the property, friendly staff, good food (dinner and breakfast). Visits from Cody the cat was a bonus.

Great location for the airport. About 20 mins by taxi/shuttle. Great views. Evening meal was excellent but choice limited to a set menu of one! Room was very comfortable. Good views from patio and restaurant. I’d definitely recommend

This is a unique place to stay and enjoy the true Namibian experience. The servers are quite attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is satisfying. Having an evening meal outside and looking the lights of Windhoek is a must thing.

Wonderful stay for our first night in Namibia. Not far from the airport and town but beautiful surroundings in nature. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed a delicious three course dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.
