Had a lovely stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and cost was very reasonable. It is neither the latest or greatest just a decent B and B in a great location. Many thanks 😊

On a positive note Breakfast was great. Bed was comfortable. However advertised as room with view of Tower but a multi storey has been erected so blocks view. En-suite was a very basic shower in the corner next to the bed plus wash basin in opposite corner. Toilet separate in a corridor within the bedroom. One double socket on dressing table - one socket of which only worked occasionally. Coffee left in open container and went gooey after a couple of days. Wardrobes very dusty had dirty marks on the doors. One bath towel and hand towel between two and no bath mat so had to use hand towel as bath mat. Half a toilet roll in toilet. The whole place inside and out is very dated and untidy. The owner was a lovely lady and was a perfect host. It's a shame for her.

How on earth this hotel was rated a 9.0 I will never know. The place smells really bad. There was a migrant family living in the lounge, other rooms occupied by vagrants. Breakfast didn't start until 9 am so we gave it a miss. If I had more time on arrival, I would have found an alternative place to stay. The only thing that was good about this place was the on site parking

The hotel is in a timewarp of the 70s mfi furniture in the bedroom just a sink in the corner toilet and shower down the corridor serving the whole floor. The only good thing was the Breakfast it was very good. The lady serving it was excellent. But on the whole I was disappointed. I wouldn't book this hotel again.

Great breakfast, great location, spacious room.

Please avoid at all costs. The ‘Tower’ view room is actually a view of a multi storey car park, and the ‘guest seating area’ is actually used by the ‘proprietors family’ or marked ‘Private’ The place is not clean, extremely scruffy and misleading. Check the reviews carefully. The ‘good’ reviews are from years ago when it was under different management. Awful place.

Was a great place to stay from the first day to the last

The breakfast was hot but I had a few problems the first one was the door of room locked me in had to bang 😭on the door told her I cannot get out so chucked the key out the window the lady opened it up so I could get out said she will get it sorted then my door opened and an elderly man with dementia was looking for his room so I called down the shower area was next to my room but it was not suitable for Me as to high plus no gran railsso I didn't use she said the door lock will be looked into I was in room three as it got changed from four I know it was a shared shower room but there was no space to put toiletries as someone else had their stuff all over the locking of the door has freaked me out a bit as it happened through the night as I needed to get to the toilet I had to push the door turn the key to the tight and jiggle it a few times then turn the key as if it hadn't turned I would have woken up the house hold I have made them aware of the problem so hopefully they will sort it out but they was so helpful with me as my mobility makes me slower good area near amenities but sadly the surrounding area needs renewing but overall was a good stay I know things happen but it doesn't put me off

To many family members in the place. Hardly any paying residents so it was a bit noisy and to unpleasent. I certainly wont be going there again. I will chose somewhere else.
