I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Léopold. The check in instructions were very clean and easy to follow. It is a charming hotel in an old building with matching decor. The room was clean, bed comfortable, quiet night. Coffee tea and fruits available on the salon and a hearty breakfast at the konditorei. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to drive the next day.

Opened in 1914, Hotel Leopold maintains its old-world charm. I loved its atmosphere, its host and staff, and its amazing breakfast! It also has a great internet connection.

A most charming hotel in a perfectly located Jugend-style building. Very helpful & friendly staff and a superb breakfast w home-made bread, soft/runny boiled eggs etc. Also ask for a really good place to dine nearby (you get 10% as guest of Leopold).. Thank you!

Marie and Ingvar are wonderful hosts, helped us with transportation issues and were very kind. Their hotel is “old world” charming, with good natural light to brighten up the cozy common areas. We especially enjoyed meeting other travelers during breakfast and at the end of the day having tea or coffee in the spacious sitting room. Close to restaurants and historic sites. Highly recommend.

The couple that ran the hotel were so accommodating and friendly. Everything was clean and they were always there to help or just havea conversation.

Large rooms with big character right in the middle of the city, at a fantastic price. There are also large additional rooms for common use (though I was there alone almost all the time) which give the accommodation the feel of a large private home from two centuries ago. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Rommet var stort, pent og rent. Stilig gammel stil hvor den gamle frokostsalen var med gratis kaffe, vann og kjeks. Beliggenhet i hjertet av Østersund midt i gågaten. God seng og deilig sengetøy. Frokosten på bakeriet rett over gaten var det ingenting å utsette på. Veldig god valuta for pengene og kommer tilbake neste gang vi er i Østersund.

Väldigt lyhört, dåliga sängar och låg standard på badrum

Mycket positivt bemötande trevligt rum bra med tillgång till kaffe, frukt mm. Bra med kyl på rum och och mikro i allmänt rum. Enda minus högljutt utanför på gatan en lördagskväll Hotellet var dock förutseende och hade öronproppar på rummet

Lokaler och rum, inklusive sängar, är bra. En fin miljö att vistas i. Finns tillgång till kaffe , kakor och frukt i ett av uppehållsrummen, vilket är bra. Personalen är omöjligt att veta något om. Under vår vistelse där såg vi bara på avstånd en lokalvårdare. Ingen personal i övrigt, en öde känsla och ovanlig på ett hotell av denna klass. Ett minus är förstås att frukosten inte längre finns tillgänglig på hotellet utan på Wedemarks klassiska konditori på 30-40 meters avstånd. Ändringen skedde i höstas, ett minus för oss som bott på Leopold flera gånger tidigare. Inget fel på frukosten dock.

Lite speciellt då hotellet var obemannat. Man får tvärs över gatan till ett café och äter frukost. Bra läge mitt på stan

Mysigt hotell mitt i centrum, nära till allt. Tydlig information innan ankomst och vänligt bemötande av städpersonal. Kan varmt rekommendera, skulle definitivt boka igen!
