My Points

We enjoyed staying here. The staff was great. It is an older property (no elevator). It also feels like a safe area of the city.

There was very little warm water the first day.  Shower/tub had a jealousy windows and one pane was missing which made for a cool breeze.  The room was cold too. Quito is very cool and with rain worse.

A bit out of town, but peaceful-if you stay on the right side of the entrance to the building and don't have the dogs next door barking in your window. Get the matrimonial room-it's much larger and much more comfortable.  Breakfast is $3.00 and should be included.
