not so cool

The hotel is very well located, near the pink lake. It is well maintained, and the rooms are clean. The air conditioning works, and the bed has a mosquito net. The restaurant is decent; they were able to adapt the menu for two vegetarians. The breakfast is varied (bread, butter, jam, honey, Laughing Cow cheese, juice, cake, coffee, tea, etc.).

It's now called "Chez Salim." There are two swimming pools. The back one was green, which was a shame because it was the one in front of our cottage. The front one was a bit cloudy, but the water was blue, so it was fine; I swam a few laps. There's an outdoor restaurant at lunchtime, on a nice high point, and musicians played during our meal. However, the indoor restaurant for dinner is more like a canteen. The staff is young and friendly. You can get "Kiss Lorraine" pastries as a starter, which made me laugh.

A warm welcome, clean and air-conditioned room, the pool was a bit chilly, the meals were local and very good. The staff were friendly and very welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at this camp in Senegal. The setting is pleasant, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. What particularly impressed us was the team's responsiveness and professionalism: even the slightest problem, they quickly intervened with a smile. We felt truly at home here, with a simple yet genuine sense of hospitality. A wonderful place to recommend without hesitation! 👌🏻🙂 A big plus: having a refrigerator in the room and two beautiful swimming pools available 👍🏻
