We stayed at The Fleece for a couple of nights. Our welcome as a pleasant professional one, despite the bar and restaurant being busy. Our room and the linen was very clean, and although quite warm, there was a fan provided that did the trick. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was good, and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. Lovely beer garden/ courtyard to enjoy a relaxing beer. All in all an excellent stay and we wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. Thanks to all the staff and management.

Beautiful room , spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. The hot spell of weather meant that the room very warm ( the AC unit in the room was sadly not effective at all) so we were glad we’d taken our own room fan which helped to cool the room a bit for sleeping. Staff were very friendly and helpful and food including breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated in the countryside with its own car park and a 15 minute drive to Lancaster.

We had a lovely short stay in this attractive stone pub with lots of character.. The location is perfect for Lancaster and the University nearby. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean. Food was good and staff pleasant and helpful. The lovely garden at the back was ideal for a relaxing pre dinner drink. Thank you, we will definitely recommend to our friends!

Breakfast was amazing, staff were excellent. The room and general cleanliness were very clean. Highly recommend the fleece Inn.

I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this is one of the best ever in the UK helpful Staff fabulous service comfortable room. Close to the M6 a perfect place to stop on our way up to Edinburgh.

Totally exceeded our expectations A real pub, full of locals all enjoying themselves. Spotlessly clean, great bar staff, really friendly and well trained. Food was Vunderba, all home cooked. Room was immaculate and characterful. Breakfast wonderful Definitely return for longer jyst to stay here.

This was a friendly welcoming pub with a very comfortable room. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed.

Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. The food was delicious and fairly priced. The cooked breakfast the next morning was delicious too (other options are available). All the staff were friendly and attentive and helped to make our stay extra special. We would love to visit again, hopefully in the summer to take advantage of the lovely beer garden. Our thanks to all at The Fleece Inn, for a memorable stay.

Spotless room, really comfy bed, great shower and bath with plenty hot water. Bar was busy but a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, breakfast was excellent. Staff very polite and helpful, all round and excellent little pub with rooms, we will be back.

Comfortable and clean room with plenty of space. Large en-suite with a separate bath and shower. The team were friendly and gave great customer service.
