The room was super dirty, dusty, and full of gecko eggs/termite infestations. The bathroom was filthy to the point of crusty mess. Only one guest (my wife) cleaned the bathroom here because she couldn't stand the sight of it being dirty for her children. I entered and it smelled so dusty, as if the room hadn't been filled or cleaned in a long time. Then I stayed all day with the window open. Finally, the air got better. For Rp. 500,000 per night, this accommodation is far from decent. I complained that the room was really dirty, but I was finally allowed to move to a cleaner room, but no staff helped me at all. Hopefully, the management uncle/aunt can fix this, I feel sorry for the guests who came all the way and paid a lot.

The staff was friendly, and we got snacks. But the room needed to be cleaned; there was a lot of dirt under the mattress. The hot water was okay, but the bathroom wasn't maintained. A room for three people or a family is worth it because it has an extra bed. Breakfast is delicious at the Kalaras restaurant next door, while taking photos of the riverside. Dinner was at the RF Saung, and in the afternoon, surfing at Batu Karas—Batu Karas is truly crazy.

Check-in was easy, and the hotel was easy to find. There are plenty of food stalls nearby, and you can fish behind the inn.

Our original intention was to camp around Karang Nini and Madasari. However, the atmosphere in Batukaras made us change our minds. We immediately opened Traveloka and found Shane Josa. We checked in at 7:00 PM. Honestly, we didn't see what the surroundings were like. In the morning, we found out that behind us was an estuary river with clean green water, with sago palms in the background. It was truly unreal. They even provided free canoes for room renters. We will definitely be back again. The staff are very friendly, typical Sundanese. Ah... how happy. In fact, we ended up extending our stay for another night...hahahah.
