No water, the wall is so thin. U can hear footsteps from your room

The Journey Hotel is in a strategic location. Clean. The staff are friendly. It's very helpful. Special thanks for letting us put our luggage because the flight to Kota Kinabalu was delayed. Highly recommend staying and coming back again.

Strategic location to several tourist attractions, just walking distance, I ordered a deluxe room with Window and I really like it 🥰 even though the room is not that big, it is comfortable. The reception is friendly, especially the afternoon shift, very friendly and very helpful ☺. Oh my God! I definitely will come again to stay at this hotel. It's very convenient, and breakfast is easy to walk to, as you can see in my picture. The hotel is still fresh and new! Very good for all various ages to stay here. Those who wish to go for medical treatment, it's easy and just a grab away. Thank you Ms. Kessi and team for the hospitality given. Definitely enjoyed my short stay here.

Early in the morning I went to the hospital for a blood check, and left my daughter in the room, who was sleeping. When I came home, he said a hotel employee opened the door, without knocking, even though I had already hung up the paper, don't disturb me. The hotel staff had gone home at 11pm, and the morning I left at 6 no staff had arrived, it was really uncomfortable.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, the staff is friendly, very close to places to eat and a mini market, grab messages are also not difficult from here and easy to find.

Pros - Room and bathroom were very clean and a lot more spacious than in photos.- Toiletries are provided and water pressure+temperature were good and toilet has a vent.- Staff were friendly and concise.- Good wifi.- I came halfway through ramadan so there were lots of free parking outside.- Location is perfect if you're food hunting. Cons - Can hear everything going on outside but didn't really bother me as I'm a heavy sleeper.- Faint sewage smell (common problem in malaysian hotels)- Bedsheets smelled slightly sour as no window = lack of ventilation. Maybe they weren't dry enough when they were fitted to the bed 🤷🏽‍♀️

The room is not "very" spacious, but it was spacious enough. Very comfy and really really clean. Friendly and helpful staffs. The bathroom was pretty good too with the handheld and rain shower. Location wise, I'd say it's really great. Walking distance to nearby famous eateries and convenience's shop. Less than 10 minutes walk to Chowrasta Market. 10 - 15 minutes walk to the famous Chulia Street nightlife. Only 2 downside things about the room. There's no minibar and there's no proper shelve to place your personal toiletries in the bathroom.

Overall not bad. But the no sound proof. You can hear people passing by the corridor. Walking distance to food stall.

Simple, big and clean room! However, the blanket and bedsheet had a musty smell. Was changed during housekeeping after giving feedback. Overall still a great experience.

100 rm key deposit, clean, good service, good air conditioning, good warm water, strategic location, there is a coffee shop in front of the hotel, grab is very familiar with familyar hotel locations, good for holiday family stays or hospital visits .
