The parc would usually be a 6/5, however there are major things that need to be fixed.
We stayed in one of the 2-Person rooms.
Our room was rather dirty. The bathroom door had unidentifiable sticky spatters, even covered with dust, so definitely there longer. On the hallway were huge amounts of dead flies and spider webs, as well as on the outside of the windows. Our floor was dusty and the pillow covers were put on the wrong way around.
The bathrooms are big, but there is a lot of unused space, so even though you could easily be in there with 4 people at the same time, there is no space at all around the sink to place your bathroom stuff.
The staff at the reception has no idea what they are providing. We called ahead from the store whether there is coffee and sugar provided in the room or whether we have to buy some. We were told there was none, but luckily decided not to buy some and do that later. When we got into the room, there were 6 coffee capsules and a whole basked filled with sugar, creamer and sweetener.
On the website they state that they offer coupons for 10% off at Roermond Outlet. When we asked at the reception about them they told us they only have a flyer. Tourns out the flyer was not only the coupon for 10% off, but also free parking, free coffee and even up to 25% off in some selected stores. Staff had no clue.
The rooms were very warm, but even though it was not even 25 degrees outside the AC had no chance to cool down the room.
The location is amazing, the pool could definitely be warmer (whirlpool only has 30 degrees) but is nice and clean, the beach is nice, it is quite, safe and new. Everything is easy to operate by links to open doors and gates. There are mosquito nets on the windows, good charging infrastructure for electronic vehicles and overall everything seems well thought through.
However, I feel like the staff or the environment under which they work or are trained is the only reason it is not perfect, which could be easily fixed.
