I am reaching out as a Marriott Bonvoy member and Platinum status holder on Expedia, through which we booked our stay from March 16 to March 22, 2025. We travel over 80 nights a year, and unfortunately, this has been the worst hotel experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the experience was extremely poor: • Despite the official check-in time being 3:00 p.m., we were not given a room until 4:30 p.m. • To make matters worse, the first room assigned to us was already occupied, leading to an incredibly uncomfortable and awkward situation when we walked in on another guest. • We were then relocated to another room that had an unfinished ceiling and, despite being two adults, were placed directly in front of the children’s area, where constant noise made our stay unpleasant. • The minibar was empty, and the room was clearly not properly prepared for guests. • Finally, we requested another change and were assigned room 2102, which was a better option but still had issues: • The AC unit made a loud rattling noise after running for a few hours. • The hot water in the shower was inconsistent, making it difficult to use. The situation did not improve with the hotel’s dining experience. Our first breakfast at the new Zafiro tower was a major disappointment; the buffet felt improvised and in very poor condition. Later, we visited the Tonati Beach Club, which was an even worse experience: • The shuttle was in terrible condition, with a dirty, burned ceiling, an

Pros-clean, safe and staff are friendly. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Not overcrowded. Plenty of room at the pools. Cons- need to Uber everywhere since it’s far. Bars close early, need to make reservations for dinner in advance, and they have limited music for entertainment.

Nice gym facility with Matrix new equipment. Could have maybe a 2nd restaurant to mix it up. Overall very happy with this resort great for young family and Jungle Mountain vibes. I would add a small pool at the beachclub would be perfect for little ones who cant go in the ocean easily.

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary for 5 days and absolutely loved our time here! We have talked about going back and bringing the kids next time. The property is beautiful, private, quiet and large without feeling so big and spread out like some huge resorts. It’s amazing for a couples vacation but also seems like a great option for families as well. There is a whole section of a kids water park a little off the main pools area, nightly kids movies, great snack options and space for them to run and play. We loved the number of pools, some more like hot tubs and specifically labeled as private for adults only, some tucked away in the trees and even a natural spring pool that was refreshing and beautiful! The restaurants were very good and the buffet was fresh with lots of great options. I loved our room, spacious but still comfortable and cozy feeling. Access to the beach by their shuttle was super easy and convenient and the little town was charming with some great restaurant options too! The staff were all lovely and so friendly and helpful. Really feel we lucked out with this spot and hope to return before too long!

We loved our first All Inclusive experience here! So many pools that it never felt crowded. The food was great - so many options! We loved the buffet and the menued options. The staff were so friendly and helpful! They also seemed to genuinely get along with other and like their jobs, which is important to me. The beach club and shuttle was a great way to get to see the ocean. The only thing that knocked it down a star was the stress of getting to the resort. Without a resort shuttle, we had to fight for a very expensive taxi ride! It was stressful after a long day of air travel. But overall, it was a good experience. Lots of sun, swim, food and drinks!

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the beach being so far away but it works ! It is very well run and the staff were awesome . I had an accident on my 2 nd day and it was nite time . They called the hospital and I went in a cab . I had broken fingers and didn’t want to go home . I had them bandaged and splinted so I could enjoy the 6 days I had left . The resort stepped up and offered if I needed anything just let them know . They brought me room service and buckets of ice for my hand . Everytime I seen anyone they were asking how I was , it was comforting because I was by myself . The resort doctors were both awesome and the staff were very helpful in helping me get the money I was overcharged back from the hospital . I felt very grateful to be there . I like to walk so I walked around the resort instead of taking the golf carts whenever possible . They was lots of stuff for kids to do . I didn’t check out the water slides but heard from adults that they enjoyed it . Manuel and the manager went that extra bit to insure I was doing good and are very good at their jobs and customer service . I caught the shuttle everyday and went to the beach and looked for shells . They serve food and drinks that are included . Great staff at the beach club . The one thing I would say is I wish there was more than the 3 restaurants . I m a fussy eater and mostly ate dinner at the Japanese restaurant . I would go there again with my husband , too bad the kids are grown up it would be fun .

This property is away from the hustle and bustle of the city so is great for a relaxing holiday. The shuttle service to the private beach was appreciated. At the beach we could order food and drinks and there were activities for children. At the resort, there are many pools for the children to go swimming or relaxing in the lounge chairs. Great service from the shuttle drivers if you didn't want to walk up and down the hills from room to restaurant to pools etc.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property is beautiful, and the staff is exceptional. A special shoutout to Manuel, the morning bartender at the lobby bar—he gave excellent recommendations for places to visit. I stayed in March, and most of the pools and hot tubs were heated, which was great. The only thing that could be improved is the beach club—it’s about a 10-minute distance away, though they do provide their own transportation, and there aren’t enough shade spots or lounge chairs. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience!

If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday this resort is for you. The resort has about 8 cats on-site, guessing to eliminate and rodents and it worked . The cats are adorable, so ideal for cat lovers too. Saw a few coatis and iguanas. Highlight was being able to see the humpback whales from the shores of the beach club . Food truck tacos were delicious and the bartender in the lobby named Manuel makes delightful cocktails. :)

The hotel was clean and the staff provides great service. The food is decent, more dining options would still be nice for dinner service. This hotel is great for a quiet getaway as the nighrly entertainment is a movie in the park.. the resort is great for kids but not teenagers. The beach is nice, but I would gave prefered if it was walkable opposed to the shuttle. The last shuttle takes you back to the resort before sunset.

We loved our recent 5 night stay. ( couple ) Property was beautiful and we loved that it was nestled in the mountains giving a different feel from other all inclusive resorts. We loved exploring and mastering the hiking trails up the mountain, then relaxing at the beach or one of the pools. This resort had everything we wanted. While not located on the beach, there were shuttles that run every 30 minutes to take you to the resorts beach club, which was all included in our stay. So awesome. We really enjoyed the infinity pool on the roof of building 6. A serene and quiet option when we wanted a change from the livelier pools. Gorgeous view! Only negative that stood out in our opinion, was the quality and choice on the dinner buffet. While we found the breakfasts to be Really good, the dinner food lacked taste and was uninspiring. We did enjoy the taco truck, teppanyaki restaurant, and the pantry, for coffee, fruit and snacks.
