It was great in that they went in everyday to change sheets and freshen up the room and give us new towels everyday. If you’re okay with a small room and gets the job done with close proximity to the main center, this will be for you. Don’t expect nothing fancy, but it’s also not the worst either. Bare minimum accommodation that was clean and got the job done for us. One thing we did note were cockroaches in the restroom. We saw at least a couple during our stay. If it weren’t for the roaches, it would be a 4 star overall, but it’s a 3 star for a reason.

Si es tu primera vez visitando CDMX es el lugar ideal cerca de todo, staff siempre atento siempre al tanto de todo lo que necesites, rooftop con vista bonita, siempre limpio! 5 min de zocalo y bellas artes, 20 min del aeropuerto.

Pros: great location, very clean and good maid service, beds were comfortable, nice bedding. Cons: Very noisy, No soundproofing. Could hear everything outside the rooms. Small rooms with limited furniture, i.e. no bedside table in one room and no luggage rack in another. Rooftop restaurant closed too early.

I recently stayed at Hotel Principal in Mexico City, and overall, the hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in the heart of downtown, making it very convenient for exploring the city. However, there were a few disappointing aspects. During check-in, the front desk agent was very serious and not welcoming. We were not given any information about the hotel amenities, restaurant, or breakfast, just asked to sign some papers and handed the room key. Additionally, the televisions in our room were not fully functional, as neither remote control worked properly beyond turning the TVs on and off. On our last day, we also had an uncomfortable experience with a housekeeping staff member. When my mother politely asked for a couple of bottles of water, the staff member responded with a poor attitude. Before giving us the bottles, she reported the number of bottles over her radio and asked for our room number to document it, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. While the location and appearance of the hotel are great, the service experience could definitely be improved.

100% Value for money. Simplicity but at the same time functional. Great location, clean and cherful. A bit small but undestandable given what we paid for a night.
