ideal location!

Wonderful location on the Nyhavn Canal. Easy to get to almost everything. Very friendly staff. Rooms were very clean.

Perfect spot for those who like a bustling area with cafes and shops close by. The hotel is situated across the street from a canal so it is very easy to get a tour boat or simply take a stroll. The location can't be beat, and the front desk let us store our bags upon our early arrival. Great place.

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Bethel. The location is amazing and the hotel overall is amazing (and affordable). I can't speak highly enough about our experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

Great location, room is very clean. We booked the superior double room with canal view, I was so happy with the choice. The room is big and in the corner and has a big terrace that overlook the canal right in front of you. In the summer night, it’s spectacular to look at the sunset, colorful houses in nyhavn along side of the canal, and neon light after dark cast cover the water. Wish the breakfast have more choices and more hot items.

great welcoming and accommodating staff! lovely people!- right on the main drag with great access- but negative was the street and hotel noise- had to have windows open due to no AC

This property is fantastic. Fully remodeled and very modern with an incredibly scenic location on the canal with a multicolored buildings that defined the Copenhagen landscape. The staff were super helpful and we will come again to this hotel next time we’re in Denmark.

There is no air conditioning (A/C) and during hot summers, it’s definitely needed. Also be aware that while the location is prime, right on the canal, that means it’s also VERY noisy, with revelers partying way into the early hours (bring earplugs!). The rooms are relatively small but not unexpected at a boutique hotel like this.

The location of the hotel was great for us as tourists. While somewhat noisy, we did not mind. The view from our windows was fantastic. The room was minimalistic and very small. It was very difficult to get two suitcases open and be able to walk and there was one very uncomfortable chair. The twin beds were very comfortable. However the towels were thin and rough, toiletries were shampoo and body wash only, and the toilet paper very cheap. The breakfast was quite adequate and very clean. There was no A/C but a nice table fan kept the room comfortable with the windows open. Considering the cost of the room, $311 per night, I did expect more.
