Very close to Paddington station, which is good for transport, but noisy. Basic for a nights sleep, but not a longer stay.

Easy to access commons and transport. Lovely area around the garden. Don’t forget there is no aircon as well but nice opening windows made for a pleasant stay.

I loved the quaint building g and sympathetic decor. The staff was very helpful. I appreciated all of it. A good sleep, too!

Great budget hotel with lots of character

It was warm in the room. The fans did help I would suggest 2 fans in the quad room.

Nice airy lobby, kind staff and cool artwork on the first floor stairwell. It is incredibly close to Paddington Station, which is a great thing for getting around the city and a not so good thing in that you can feel the underground trains vibrating the building. There is no A/C in the rooms and you need to be comfortable with stairs all the way up to the 4th floor to use the shared bathroom. If it wasn't so hot in the city I probably wouldn't have had an issue with this next item, but for the bedding, there was only a fitted sheet and the duvet, no flat sheet. I like to have the option of all 3, especially when it is so hot with no A/C it's nice to just sleep with the fitted sheet and kick off the duvet.

The location of the hotel is great, as is the art in the corridors and the level of cleanliness. The only downside was that the television remote control was incredibly dirty, but this was an outlier: everything else was very clean and tidy. The shower was hot and powerful. The bed was comfortable. There is a free water dispenser in reception, which is useful, also a (paid) coffee machine and snack fridge.

Excellent place. Well ventilated- a very pleasant surprise for a London hotel. Great mattress & pillows, quiet, slept well. Beautiful unique decor, very clean. Loved the hand soap, Elizabeth on reception was so pleasant & helpful, as were all staff I encountered.

The hotel is extremely well located for Paddington station. It is clean with comfy beds. The shower was a bit of a challenge (got blasted with cold water before the hot water came through) and our room was in the basement so manoeuvring the cases up/down the narrow stairs was not easy. However staff were very helpful and friendly. Not a bad stop for a night or two. :)

Just awful. Incredibly hot. Tiny plasticky en suite. Dark corridors. Loud tv’s in rooms. It was simply the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in London. At 11pm I decided that I wasn’t comfortable at all and booked another hotel nearby and left.

Avoid if London is hot as there is no air in the hotel. Avoid if you have any mobility issues because there is no elevator and stairs are extremely narrow and steep. I got the fourth floor room and getting up and down with a small suitcase at my age was dangerous. Finally front desk was at best in different.

Very handy for Paddington station, and the hotel staff are very friendly. Good value for money

All staff were extremely helpful, the entire hotel was extremely clean, and you can hear the train, but it did not bother me nor did it keep me up. The trains stop late in the evening. This was a great place to stay.

Rooms were clean, tidy and high spec. Comfortable beds. Sad there was no tea/coffee making in the room and it was shared Kitchette in the hallway. Great location for ease of access to underground and central London. We unfortunately stayed when there was an England match on and our room must have been next to a pub/bar as it was super noisy until late. Singing could be heard through the walls! Could also hear the trains under us a lot. Not great if you’re a light sleeper. No fan in the room either. Friends on the top floor said it was quieter but a lot hotter up there but they did have a fan. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

A lovely hotel excellent location really friendly staff

Rooms are small but very adequate for our stay and very clean. Location for us was fantastic as we were attending a concert at Hyde Park. Would definitely stay again.
