This hotel was an extremely lucky find! Their rates are great, it's a new build and the design is very modern. the smart features in the room are a great touch and work flawlessly. the internet is great. one of the best things is that hotels always suck with room lighting. this place definetly does not. I loved the relax lighting options as well. my bed was also pretty awesome :) firmness varies from person to person but for me it was just right, and the sheet quality was awesome. I think above all the staff is helpful and kind and that really made me happy. As others have said the location is also very convenient.

Breakfast was delicious. Beautiful room. It wasn’t a “city view” as advertised though.

Hotel is nice and clean. The people are very welcoming and the service is excellent. The breakfast that’s included is second to none. Don’t go for the pool is small and in the restaurant, kind of a running joke amongst guests. The hotel is the heart Chania and you can easily walk anywhere in the city. We rented a car to explore the waterfalls and beaches and it was worth it. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent place to be for your first time in Crete .Very nice place and the staff are fantastic. The night market is right across the street from the hotel and the park out front. Would like to have another stay at this hotel again.

Lovely boutique hotel close to everything. The staff is super helpful and resourceful! Marina from the front desk gave me many restaurants and beach suggestions in Crete to discover. Polite and always smiling all of the staff deserve more than 5 stars! The location makes it so easy to walk to the old port of Chania! The rooms are very clean and well designed. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Chania Hotel!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Chania hotel. I would definitely stay again. It is in such a fantastic location, walkable to so many shops and restaurants. The staff were always helpful and friendly and the breakfast was amazing. I really appreciated that they give you towels to use if you want to go to the beach. Many other hotels in Greece do not do this. We also enjoyed happy hour at the upstairs pool/bar most afternoons. The Chania Hotel is so quiet and comfortable. It was one of our favorite places we stayed on our trip.

This hotel has the potential to be excellent but it is let down by the manager and the reservations team who failed to address their mistake. Some of the team fear their seniors, resulting in them not making the guests happy but making sure they do not get in trouble. On the plus side, most of the staff are lovely and the hotel itself is in a great location. The breakfast is great and it’s good to have a la carte options rather than buffet. The pool is much smaller than the photos - more like a large jacuzzi. I wish I could recommend this hotel but unfortunately I can’t and I shall never return.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location in Chania. The only thing I missed was an outdoors pool. Breakfast was superb in a great setting on the 4th floor.

Our stay in Chania was fabulous. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved the location of the hotel as well as the option for parking. My only suggestion is that the hotel team let the guests know that after 11pm there is no one available to park your car. So beware of this if you plan on returning to the hotel past 11:00pm. You will need to find parking on your own. Other than that, the entire experience was very desirable. A warm mention to the lovely staff at breakfast who greeted us daily with a smile and Cretan hospitality.

The hotel is really good but it’s not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are great and clean, but you can hear people on the hallway so they could improve sound isolation. Female ladies at reception and restaurant are very friendly as well as valet staff but one male at reception was very rude to us. My husband wanted to use the laundry service so we brought our clothes to the reception on saturday end of day and the guy was like “it’s saturday of course it doesn’t work today. Tomorrow is sunday, isn’t it obvious?” No, it’s not obvious, you claim to be a 5 star hotel, we never had this issue before in hotels. Secondly, HE CALLED US AT NEARLY 11PM to ask if we had returned the pool towels, which we had done in the afternoon. My husband complained about him calling us so late and he said “it’s only 10:40PM”. This is really not acceptable. Finally, while ladies at reception were nice and understood our frustration, the manager came to talk to me and I felt extremely gaslighted. And then said “ok sorry but you understand this is an isolated incident right?”, while I do understand that I would love him to tell us that he will speak to his rude staff and better train him to avoid other people going through similar situations. Finally they gave us a candle as a gift. Overall a disappointing stay in a good hotel. Positives: location, female staff being friendly, cleanness and breakfast.

Pros: Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. Very convenient location which makes for a very walkable experience. It was a great feeling being able to shop and then drop my purchases off within minutes or heading home from "The Strip" of bars. The staff is very kind and Maximo and Anna were very kind. If you have the pleasure of meeting Andre as your bartender try the old fashion his are great and not your typical old fashion. Rooms are very clean well put together. Bed is bit firm (I prefer this) the bedding itself is quite soft. and if there is anything the last person before you damaged it is made know so you do not experience any unpleasant surprises. Cons: Honestly none. Retrospect: The only possible one is if you are a health nut and want to bench 600lbs or something along those lines. There is a treadmill, rowing machine ;please be aware that the straps are bit worn and tough to use so your feet will slide since the holders are a bit worn. Free weights: range up to about 15lbs but are of a sand bagged variety . There are towels for yourself but not to wipe down the equipment (Staff takes care of his ). there is also a bike and i recall a bosu ball and blocks If you want to use the sauna advise the staff 20 mins ahead as it takes time to warm and is not on indefinitely.
