The location is at a major attraction (La Fortaleza) and therefore very busy and can be noisy until late.

We had zero hot water at the property. When I reached out regarding us not having hot water I was told the building was old. But there was hot water to the sinks. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but we made due. We aren’t the type of people to complain, and didn’t get one decent shower the entire 3 days we were here. It was so cold showers were 3 min max. We also kept receiving messages to turn off lights and ac, so I’m pretty sure they are trying to save money by not offering hot water in the showers to guest.

The staff was so friendly and amazing. Our washer broke and they did our laundry for us the communication was perfect and staying in old San Juan was absolutely perfect. Everything was so walkable and accessible I can’t imagine staying somewhere else it was right in the middle of everything and the street of the rentals doesn’t have cars on it so it was so peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend.

Great location (but extremely loud outside). Shower does NOT work. Either scalding or freezing. Tried it twice. Needs towel bar in bathroom, coffee table, luggage rack and side table in bedroom.

It was wonderful! Perfect location and the place was beautiful and super clean. It had everything we needed for our stay.

Fantastic apartment in the best location! My only warning is to expect a good amount of noise at night. Bring earplugs and you will not regret staying here.

Great experience from the communication to any requests/ questions we had! Beautiful views and easy access to dining and shopping. Will be staying here again!! 10/10 experience made this birthday occasion extra special!

I don’t usually make a review when things went wrong but I must share my personal discomfort on this stay. The access to the upper rooms were not as easy as expected, with no elevator and steeped stairs, especially when you have big/heavy luggage, and you are not in your 30-40’s anymore. It’s well located in the heart of Old San Juan, but too noisy at late night when try to concilie sleep after a long day touring the island. The water at shower never got hot enough for a pleasant, so we had to do it jumping in-out…and I saw little insects at the kitchen countertop.

Although this property was centrally located, well stocked, clean and roomy, it provided a unique layout that could cause some problems for older folks or those with mobility issues, as well as young children. Great place for younger larger group. Climb up long flight of winding stairs with suitcases proved challenging for some in our party.

I enjoyed my stay. We did lose the AC for a couple of hours but communication was excellent and issue resolved same day. Unit definitely can use upgraded furniture BUT for the overall cost I would stay again. You get what you pay for. Close to everything and yes noisy...but being from NYC felt normal. Thank you guys!

Great Location, Beautifull apartment but needs updating. Shower valve needs replacement only HOT or COLD no warm. Upstairs flooring needs replacement, think it had water damage. Bedroom bed frame hand made from CCA Green wood, LOL.. Clothes washer out of service. No space for cloths, no dressers or anything just one small spot to hang few things. Couch is nasty needs replacement.

Many things to do. Restaurants, shopping, sports bars, sightseeing I could go on. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend it.

Great location but noisy at night ad room was dated. Tv did not work but not why we were there. Room could use a uplift but awesome surroundings of Old San Juan.

The property itself was beautiful and in such a great location! We were walking distance from everything. The agency was very responsive to all of our needs. Only downside is we did not have any hot water during our entire stay. We were told to let the water run for 15-20 mins but even then the water was still cold. Also the door to enter the unit needed to be pulled and jiggled in order for it to unlock so we struggled getting in. Otherwise the property was great and if this problems were fixed I would definitely stay here again!

Positives: The location is great! The balcony is also really nice to have. Customer service is good- we asked for more toilet paper and a clean sponge on our second day, and they gave it to us no questions asked. A/C worked great. Negatives: The apartment has almost no sound insulation. We were kept up until at least midnight by people coming back from their nights out, and we were woken up both mornings at 6AM by construction right outside. The windows don’t have curtains, and the string lights outside (while beautiful) mean that the room is never dark. Many of the furniture and appliances falling apart in some way. The bidet didn’t work, the kitchen sink looked like it had been smashed in, the headboard of the bed literally wasn’t attached to the frame, etc. The biggest issue to me was the cleanliness. This wasn’t the most dirty place I’ve ever stayed, but it wasn’t good. There was hair in the corners of the bathroom, behind the toilet, and in the shower. The trundle bed was severely stained, and the refrigerator was extremely dirty on the outside. There was one worn-out, dirty sponge to use for dishes. Some of the towels were still wet in the closet and smelled like mildew. The shower curtain was moldy. The level of cleanliness was just not acceptable for the price I paid (or any price, frankly.

Read all the fine print. This place did not have hot water at all. It was stone cold showers for thre days until we decided to leave. They claim the description states limited hit water due to old pipes, but the first day their response was “the city needs to come check it out” second day maintenance came and pretty much made us feel like we were crazy and stated a plumber needed to check it out. Third day they said it they disclosed the issue on their website. Bottom line, I can deal with low pressure and warm water, but not river cold water. BTW the stores and homes on the same street had plenty of warm/hit water.
