Great hotel they really thought of everything. The hot tub on the balcony is was perfect and we were lucky to have a gorgeous pink sky in May. The pub/hotel staff were lovely. Quick little walk down the hill to the little town which has really kept up with the times but still has that old England vibe. Highly recommend

Easy check in, very pleasant and personable staff, rooms great, good food readily available at the pub. Town 5 minute walk down the hill. Would absolutely go again.

The Japanese hot tub is the main reason we stay here, as my partner loves it. The beds are huge, the food is pretty good, and it’s a nice base for a day out. Parking can be a bit awkward, and it’s quite a steep walk into town.

A little gem that we will definitely return to. Rooms were finished to a high quality - not just style over substance. Beds comfy, shower amazing, hot tub fab and one of the best nights sleep for a while. Paired with excellent food and service at Bowling Green Inn, would highly recommend 👍

Stunning room, amazing facilities, with the joint pub next door having food was a dream! All homemade too which was even better. Room device available even just for drinks which again was perfect! Highly recommend x

Had a wonderful stay at The Stables Ashbourne. The rooms are beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful luxury touches throughout. The hot tub made it extra special and the staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Perfect for a relaxing getaway in a great location. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Lovely room and great, big bed! Didn’t use Spa as we were there on a very hot bank holiday, but had a peek and sauna and splash pool looked lovely. And they give plenty of water, always a plus for us.

Booked here for mine and my partners 2nd anniversary! Room was bigger than I thought! (Good thing) Nice and clean! Air-conditioning which was a life saver with the weather at the moment! Ended up having a Sunday lunch at the pub next door to the rooms and it was the best Sunday lunch I've had out! Staff we're great and attentive! Would definitely return!

We had an amazing stay at the stables, check in was easy at the pub. Our room was beautiful as described and the hot tub was an amazing addition! The bed was super comfy. We had tea in the pub, steak is definitely their specialty, absolutely delicious meals. Amazing stay overall and will definitely be back!

Beautifully designed room which was large and comfortable with a stylish bathroom. The Japanese hot tub on the private balcony was superb. We had dinner at the Bowling Green pub (where we checked in) and the food and staff were excellent. Highly recommend.
