The good: best breakfast at any stay ever, real Canadian maple syrup, real quality bacon, super high quality food. The view and surroundings were amazing. Can't comment on the spa as we didn't use it. The bad: I got a splinter in my foot from the floor in the room, staff didn't seem to care. Too many lights in bedroom you couldn't turn off or cover. Thermostat didn't seem to function properly at all and lit up when the lights went off (and it's next to the bed). Outdoor light always on and can't be turned off. No comfortable chairs or couch, and the kitchen chairs are rippled hard wood, like a ruffled potato chip and as uncomfortable as you would imagine. There was a kitchen, but no dishes or supplies and the front desk wouldn't provide us with anything, so don't expect to be able to use anything other than the microwave and the mini fridge. There is a washer/dryer which can be seen in the pictures, but apparently you aren't allowed to use it. The units are actually some sort of timeshare or they have owners, which is why you can't use the extra stuff shown, which was confusing and disappointing. The light switches are a disaster, they are all over the place and totally random in how they work, which will turn on nothing or everything, and they light up in the dark. The towels were so rough, like they have never been replaced/refreshed. We were looking forward to this place the most in our vacation and it ended up being the worst, we are glad we only booked one night.

We were given a room upgrade to a beach front suite. It was beautiful. We were sad to leave but will be back for sure.

Lovely stay. There was not capacity in the restaurant but managed to get some food from them. Everything else was perfect.

New refurbished with high quality finish and spacious rooms with A/C. Lovely fine sandy beach right on the doorstep.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable, loved our family room. Would love more outdoor seating. Also the kitchenettes did not have any supplies - no plates, forks etc which was odd.

Det var verkligen en semesterkänsla. Personalen var fantastiskt, speciellt i receptionen. Hjälpssamma, positiv och glada. Rekommenderas verkligen. Lugnt och skönt, nära till havet!

Väldigt fint boende och toppen frukost. Ska jag klaga på något får det väl vara att dom bara hade Heineken som fatöl om man ville ha ljus lager. Utöver det hade dom någon lokal ljus lager på flaska. Kunde kanske haft någon mer att välja på. Men det är ett värdsligt problem. Annars inget att klaga på. Mycket fint hotell!

Skulle have booket direkte hos Åhus Seaside and not used Hotels.com. The add on Hotels.com did not state that the spa wasn’t included - at a spa. It was only the room and breakfast. That should have been makes clear in the description. The learning is never to rent through this again. There is a relax room, you visit at the end of the spa. It was fantastic! Unfortunately the personal is chatting fairly loud, kidding around, which sets the behavior of other guests, so the relax room was so relaxing after all. Too bad.. The view was amazing! Location perfect! Really nice restaurant and bar. Lovely wines and great bartenders. First night, dinner was amazing. Second night not so much. Too much was made hours before, veggies were semi warm, cream potatoes cool, burger seemed like it came out of a microwave. But as I said, first night was amazing!
