Quiet and comfortable.

Was small and minimal. Clean though. Everything worked. Coffee for coffee maker looked like it was self packaged as it didn't have a filter. Parking is adequate but difficult to get in and outwith a pickup truck. Quiet. Close to restaurant's and other shopping. So was Ok. Wont dis it but wouldnt recommend it unless cost was real issue. Price was low compared to the area.

Our stay was good. Sad to say, our bed looked like it had just been remade after the last guest. Our top cover had stains on it, and our sheets did not look clean. When I woke up in the morning to leave, I always take the sheets off the bed to help with housekeeping. Our bedroom sink was clogged, and water did not go down after I used the sink. Without all this, sleep was good. I did not hear any noise from other guests in their rooms or outside. The front desk lady was very nice, the parking was nice, so you were not close to other cars.

On the whole it’s not bad, but there are some caveats.

The Kent Inn is a good choice if you’re just looking for a decent place to sleep. The rooms are clean and large; a desk, fridge microwave and even a table & chairs are provided. The location is great for access to things you need with ample parking available. The Kent Inn really needs a makeover with some new, modern light fixtures, fresh tiles in the bathrooms. In dire need of a refresh. A completely acceptable place to stay if you’re not looking for modern decor and want to save a few bucks.

Hotels.com photos are a sham showing a Victorian-era type house, & nice enough rooms. In reality, there’s a motel strip attached to this house & a 2-storey detached building behind with a carport. We stayed in room 110. We were going to a concert & running late for its 7:30 start; just enough time to drop off our bags & grab a bite to eat. As soon as we opened the doors to the back building, this most disgusting disturbing odor wafted us. It stunk as if we were immersed in a septic tank. Fortunately our room was the first door on the left. We went inside, dropped off the bags, turned up the heat & left. We were hopeful that the outside hallway smell wasn’t going to infiltrate our room. We weren’t there long enough to distinguish whether the smell was from the outside or in our room. The inside of the bathroom door had remnants of dark stains on it & the ceilings were so low, very reminiscent of a cheap hotel. After the concert, as the room warmed up, the stench was worse, seeping through the bottom gap of the door. Disgustedly we sat on the bed without taking off our concert clothes, too concerned if we were going to bring more than just the smell home, trying to figure out if we should drive 2 hours to get home at this time of night. We decided to go home & give up the $180 the room cost us. This “Inn” should not be on hotels.com. We thought we were booking a quaint hotel in a town. We booked early-dec2-had tons of options. We deserve a refund for total misrepresentation.

The first room that we were renting had ants. We had to change rooms at 11PM when we came back to the unit. We had to take a room with 2 double beds rather than the king bed that we paid for.

The Canton is conveniently located to all amenities. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. That is very comfortable.

Good value for the money !

Due to a health test, I was not driving and was dropped off before check in time. I expected to sit and wait, but the attendant allowed me early access to the room.

It was a very clean and nice spot to stay, we would go back

Room was clean and secure, bathroom was small but clean and functional, Parking was adequate, Access to the room and office required different stairs. Fridge had to be unplugged to quiet compressor, anyone moving upstairs of me was loud and clear.

The room was very basic but comfortable. The bathroom was very cold - no independent heating.

Parking available and free. Staff friendly and accommodating. Room was very basic, dated but clean.

No ice machine or breakfast. Bring your own ice cube tray.
