My room was not fully ready upon arrival. The staff was very helfpul in helping me fix a couple of issues and offering some compensation. Facility is impeccable clean. Hotel is well located. Price vs value is rather high, but this is Switzerland, after all. There is no AC except in the superior rooms.

Told at check in that breakfast was included but found out at checkout it was an extra 20 Swiss francs per person.

Great location. Night staff was very friendly. We were able to checkin early which was nice. The Bed was dated. Unfortunately we were under the impression that breakfast was included; it costs $22; not anywhere near worth it.

Property very close to train station, via under street tunnel and up a flight or 2 of outdoor stairs. Very quiet residential neighborhood with trees, adjoining garden for hotel guests. Breakfast buffet was delicious, and attentively served by staff. Front desk was helpful and courteous with all our questions. Room was a bit small, but very adequate for our needs of 2 grandparents and one young grandchild. Beds comfortable, fan in room, windows for ventilation. Elevator was very helpful after hiking up and down the streets during the day. We will book again with Hotel Elite should we return to Lausanne. Thank you to all who made our stay enjoyable.

Samuel and the other front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and good. The attendant was pleasant and attentive. Everyone was friendly and polite.

Clean room; wonderful staff (e.g., Georgie let us borrow the kettle to get hot water); double doors for quieter room; variety of channels (including BBC and ITV for English speakers); refrigerator; free water bottles; extra sitting and sleeping area for the whole family; close proximity to the train station, public transportation, tourist attractions; balcony; close to grocery store (Coop) and cafes; elevator/lift; lots of light options for brighter/dimmer mood.

This was a great location, cute hotel. Older, but that's what made it sweet to stay in. Two bedrooms! Perfect for us. And a 5 minute walk to everything!

Pleasant small hotel with very nice staff in a good location.

This is a wonderful old hotel. We stayed on the top floor with a balcony with views of the lake. Very clean rooms and very rustic elevator. Walkable to everything if you are able to climb hills. Train and metro 5 minutes down the hill.

postive: very friendly staff, convenient and very quiet location near the train station, very clean and orderly negative: although i booked weeks in advance, i got two narrow single beds pushed together with a gap in between instead of the booked double bed i was expecting. that really was a bummer

Lovely hotel near the train station. Quiet, and comfortable with great staff! Like most of Lausanne, there are some stairs to reach the hotel. They provide a transport pass, so you can use the Metro & buses to help with the city’s vertical layout.

Quiet room with view and large balcony. Breakfast selection and service could be better.
